Workplace Manager (Night Shift)

Rockstar is on the lookout for a skilled Workplace Manager (Night Shift) who is passionate about creating and maintaining an encouraging and safe working environment throughout the day/night shifts. This is a full-time, in-office position based in Rockstar’s large game development studio in Bangalore, India. WHAT WE DO The Rockstar Games Workplace Team is ensuring collaborative functioning of working environment, building, facilities, and services to support the core business. We build and maintain an encouraging, and safe working environment for all staff at Rockstar Games. We handle and improve hard and soft building services, including maintenance, security, food services, space optimization, and planning. We partner with senior leadership to drive proactive real estate growth strategies, leasehold improvements, and ensure compliance and mentorship alignment. RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the local Workplace services, ensuring they carry out their roles and responsibilities efficiently and to the required standards. Handle contract management for facilities services, including procurement, budget management, contract negotiation, review of contract draft and inputs, day-to-day operations and performance management. Partner with H&S management to ensure employee safety as the need arises by legal and statutory requirements. Ensure efficient documentation and improvement of building and facilities information, particularly operational procedures and documentation required for safety and compliance. Update management on daily operations of the building and its facilities services, drive efficiency, align team with company objectives, and promote teamwork and accountability. Partner with Security and Business Protection peers to record, monitor, and report risks, security measures, and issues. Supervise space and desk usage to ensure efficient and effective utilization aligns with studio requirements. Collaborate efficiently with cross-functional teams, multiple departments, and global studios. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in any field or equivalent experience is required. 12+ years of shown ability in facilities/workplace and IT/ITES fields, including 5+ years leading Facilities/Workplace teams. Detail oriented, flexible self-starter with strong initiative, and multitasking skills. Excellent planning and project management skills with the ability to consider tasks and projects from multiple angles. Passionate about achieving outcomes and quality improvements through documentation. Capable of working autonomously with strong workload management and guidance-seeking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and mentor teams. Proficient in Microsoft Office, with sound numerical and IT skills. PLUSES Please note that these are desirable skills and are not required to apply for the position. Proficiency in local language. Experience in Access control management and documentation. Good vendor management and understanding of the local statutory regulations. Experience with work order ticketing systems, space management tools and construction project management platforms.
