About the job:
The Partner Ecosystem Success team is a force multiplier. We focus on growing and enabling a vital ecosystem of partners who use Red Hat technology with or in their solutions, provide services for Red Hat products, or sell solutions to end customers. The Red Hat Partner Ecosystem team is looking for a Vice President, Global Cloud Partnerships to join us.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and driving the company cloud business, including overall relationships with global cloud providers, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft and Google, as well as architecting the program for regional cloud providers. You will report directly to the Global Vice President of Red Hat Partner Ecosystem.
Driving growth through the cloud is a top priority for Red Hat. The VP Global Cloud Partnerships will collaborate closely with executive leaders, technical teams, and field sales teams developing, executing and operationalizing both get to market and go to market plans involving cloud partners.
To achieve our Cloud goals, this leader will be expected to lead multidisciplinary teams incorporating product, sales, and corporate functions.

They will bring out the best ideas for our company strategy and ensure successful execution through diverse and inclusive open dialogue.
They will communicate regularly and transparently with stakeholders and impacted communities.
The success of this role has a direct impact on Red Hat revenue delivered through and with cloud partners and therefore this person will be responsible for the overall cloud revenue target and carry it as their primary metric.
A successful candidate must be able to successfully navigate the complexity of an evolving business with resources as both direct reports and in a matrix organization.
They will also be able to clearly articulate the strategy and the metrics of success to the top leadership in the company.
The candidate is expected to have strong technical knowledge and demonstrated expertise in cloud go-to-market, partners, execution, strategy, and product development.
They should have experience across a variety of market segments and industries.
This is an outcome-oriented role and the leader should have a proven ability to both build strategies and translate those strategies into successful execution.
What you will bring:
Bachelor’s degree; MBA or postgraduate degree is a plus
Excellent market experience including an understanding of partner ecosystem market, competitor strategies & programs, sales cycles and selling techniques
Demonstrated experience of partner management in a global, matrixed software organization
Proven record of helping develop a partner strategy
Global partner experience and an understanding of the different channel partner types
Solid understanding of how software is used to solve business problems and how cloud technologies are shifting the IT landscape
Transforming and enabling partners from a single-product focus to a multi-product and solution-selling approach
Demonstrated ability to plan and set priorities and identify and resolve problems to produce measurable results
This leader must have the ability to understand Red Hat’s solution portfolio and help shape solution strategy and development.
Strong stakeholder engagement and management experience within a dual line reporting org structure
Translating concepts, summarizing and communicating complex ideas, and clearly articulating business value with a strong sense of how partners think, operate, and deliver end-user value
Excellent networking skills to uncover partner opportunities, as well as resources that benefit the partner organization and Red Hat
Strong leadership skills, ambassador and role model of Red Hat’s unique culture

The salary range for this position is $367,020.00 - $624,170.00 (inclusive of base pay + target incentive compensation). Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.
Pay Transparency
Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
