At DXC, building a better you, builds a better us.  At DXC, one of our platinum accounts has an opening for an experienced Vetting Administrator or someone with transferrable skills. The successful candidate will work within the Account Security Team and DXC Vetting office and will be innovative and analytical with a good eye for detail. The role will include adhering to client and DXC policies, standards and procedures for continual service improvement.  Role responsibilities:    Process vetting applications for all DXC employees and contractors from receipt of initial request through to completion according to approved work procedures Create and maintain accurate electronic records of all vetting applications and the outcome Approve BPSS applications following approved procedures and escalate to the Vetting Manager any which fall outside of scope of delegated authority Submit clearance applications and transfers to the relevant Vetting Authorities Issue notification of successful vetting to applicants and their Sponsor/Manager Respond to enquiries from applicants and their Sponsors/Managers regarding status of vetting applications Respond to enquiries, both internally and externally, for confirmation of security clearances Assist with housekeeping tasks in relation to all electronic vetting records when required Liaises with DXC Receptions and Site Security to confirm clearance levels for visitors Liaises with client stakeholders in regard to clearance application and the management of   What you will bring to the team:    Experience commensurate of 2 years of working in a Vetting role or relevant transferable skills Desire to improve processes and procedures Willingness to both share your knowledge and learn from others  A proactive approach  A strong team working ethic, with a “customer first” focus and a thirst for knowledge   Desirable Skills and Technologies:   Excellent interpersonal skills Awareness of GDPR requirements Fluent in the use of the MS Office Suite Desirable but not essential Vetting Administration Experience   What we will do for you:    Competitive compensation  Pension scheme  DXC Select – Our comprehensive benefits package (includes private health/medical insurance, childcare vouchers, gym membership and more)  Perks at Work (discounts on technology, groceries, travel and more)  DXC incentives (recognition tools, employee lunches, regular social events etc)  Location: Tewkesbury / London At DXC Technology, we believe strong connections and community are key to our success.
