Job Summary**
Eli Lilly Kinsale Limited is seeking a highly motivated PhD student for a TSMS Scientist Co-Op position. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge technical support for manufacturing science, applying advanced scientific principles to real-world pharmaceutical production challenges.
Job Responsibilities**
* Conduct research and analysis to support manufacturing process development, optimization, and troubleshooting.
* Apply scientific principles (e.g., chemistry, engineering, statistics) to investigate process deviations and identify root causes.
* Participate in the design, execution, and analysis of experiments to improve product quality and process efficiency.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and engineering to implement solutions.
* Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation summarizing experimental results and recommendations.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of new technologies and methodologies within TSMS.
* Support ongoing projects
Job Qualifications**
* Currently enrolled in a PhD program in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related scientific discipline.
* Strong theoretical and practical understanding of scientific principles relevant to pharmaceutical manufacturing.
* Demonstrated experience in experimental design, data analysis, and scientific problem-solving.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
* Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and pharmaceutical industry regulations is a plus.
