The Product team is a dynamic, cross-functional group responsible for planning, designing, and delivering high-quality solutions that are intuitive, powerful, and human-centred. We work closely with stakeholders–including customers, engineering, marketing, and sales–to analyse market trends, synthesise feedback, and prioritise features. We play a vital role in shaping experiences that drive real business outcomes while delighting users.
Job Description
Create and Maintain Core Documentation: Draft, edit, and update comprehensive user guides, administrator manuals, and onboarding materials for our platform and solutions. (e.g., Risk Management, Incident Response, Crisis Communication).
Produce Release Notes: Partner with Product Management to document new features, product updates, and bug fixes in clear, user-friendly release notes tailored to enterprise administrators.
Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs): Interview software engineers, product managers, and security experts to understand deeply technical features and translate them into accessible content.
Manage the Knowledge Base: Organize and structure the customer-facing documentation portal to ensure high searchability, logical navigation, and a seamless user experience.
Standardize Content: Establish and enforce consistent style, tone, and formatting guidelines across all technical documentation to align with our brand voice.
Gather User Feedback: Monitor documentation analytics and user feedback to identify knowledge gaps, proactively updating resources to reduce support ticket volume.
Basic Requirements
Required Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years of technical writing experience, preferably in B2B enterprise SaaS, cybersecurity, or IT infrastructure.
Technical Aptitude: Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex enterprise software, platform architecture, solution architecture, and security protocols.
Writing & Editing: Exceptional written communication skills with a keen eye for detail, grammar, and user-centric design.
Tools Proficiency: Experience working with documentation and authoring tools (e.g., Markdown, Git/GitHub, MadCap Flare, Paligo, Zendesk, or Confluence) and familiarity with technical writing style guides.
Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Domain Expertise: Background or familiarity with business continuity, disaster recovery, risk management, or compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 22301, SOC 2).
Multimedia Skills: Ability to create simple diagrams, flowcharts, or instructional videos to supplement written documentation.
UX Writing Experience: Experience crafting in-app copy, tooltips, and microcopy to guide users directly within the software interface
