Location: This position is Remote.
We are seeking a Technical Product Marketing Associate to help shape how we bring complex scientific products to market. This role is ideal for someone with strong flow cytometry experience and a talent for translating technical detail into clear, compelling messaging for scientific and commercial audiences. The person in this role will own product positioning, messaging, pricing, and go-to-market strategy for assigned product lines; develop technical content and sales tools; support launches; write customer-facing copy; and help manage inbound customer communication across digital channels.
Responsibilities
Own product positioning, messaging, pricing, and go-to-market strategy for assigned product lines
Support product launches from pre-launch validation through collateral development and channel enablement
Partner with R&D on new product concept validation and help inform product requirements by bringing flow cytometry expertise, customer insight, and market feedback into the product development process
Develop and maintain technical content including application notes, product guides, protocol documents, FAQs, and comparison materials
Write compelling customer-facing copy for product pages, launch materials, campaigns, and other commercial assets
Build sales enablement tools including battle cards, competitive comparisons, and objection handling guides
Conduct customer interviews and synthesize field feedback to inform positioning, pricing, and roadmap
Monitor the competitive landscape, relevant publications, conference activity, and market pricing dynamics
Serve as a front-line responder for inbound live chat, answering product and catalog questions, routing quote or custom-work inquiries to the appropriate sales team members, and translating recurring themes into improved website content, FAQs, and messaging
Own the event calendar and logistics, develop presentation materials for scientific conferences including CYTO and regional flow cytometry events, and attend key events as needed
Requirements
4+ years of hands-on flow cytometry bench experience required
Strong proficiency in panel design, compensation, and multi-platform instrument workflows
Ability to independently author scientific and technical content
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for both scientific and commercial audiences
Bachelor's degree or higher in a life sciences field; advanced degree preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in biopharma QC, cell therapy, or clinical flow cytometry
Prior experience in product marketing, field applications, or scientific sales at a life sciences tools company
Publication record or conference presentation experience
Familiarity with CRM platforms such as HubSpot
Our salary ranges are calculated by role and level. Your position within that range will be determined by your job-related knowledge, skills, experience, relevant education, and training/certifications. In addition to those factors, we also examine internal equity as well as consider current market rate, and title may be assessed one level lower or higher accordingly. After you join the company your performance, contributions, and results along with business and organizational needs will affect your base salary. The base salary range for this full-time position is between $129,000 - $135,000 + equity + benefits.
