The Opportunity This position works out of our Temecula, CA location in the Abbott Vascular Devices division. Abbott Vascular provides innovative, minimally invasive, and cost-effective products for the treatment of vascular disease. What You’ll Work On Analyze planning requirements and initiate appropriate action to support the production schedule and / or material demand Plan, order and manage inventory and materials Serve as liaison with other departments to minimize impact on schedule(s). serve as primary point of contact for production and material related concerns and communications Facilitate regular meeting with the operations and provide updates in regards to production lot availability and status Support of the department through administrative and tactical execution of specific tasks as communicated by the department manager Contribute to short-term, mid-range and long-term organizational goals Facilitation / execution of production planning and scheduling processes as well as material management Required Qualifications 2 years of relevant work experience or exposure within a regulated environment to sufficiently demonstrate the core job responsibilities of the position Prefer bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or Business Management or an equivalent combination of education and work experience Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving/ critical-thinking skills Ability and aptitude to use various types of databases and other computer software Strong organizational and project management skills Ability and aptitude to provide solutions and contingency plans through the comprehensive review of alternatives Apply Now Learn more about our health and wellness benefits, which provide the security to help you and your family live full lives:  www.abbottbenefits.com Follow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
