Job Description
LiveRamp is the data collaboration platform of choice for the world’s most innovative companies. A groundbreaking leader in consumer privacy, data ethics, and foundational identity, LiveRamp is setting the new standard for building a connected customer view with unmatched clarity and context while protecting precious brand and consumer trust. LiveRamp offers complete flexibility to collaborate wherever data lives to support the widest range of data collaboration use cases—within organizations, between brands, and across its premier global network of top-quality partners.
Hundreds of global innovators, from iconic consumer brands and tech giants to banks, retailers, and healthcare leaders turn to LiveRamp to build enduring brand and business value by deepening customer engagement and loyalty, activating new partnerships, and maximizing the value of their first-party data while staying on the forefront of rapidly evolving compliance and privacy requirements.

Marketing measurement is changing fast! Signal loss, channel fragmentation, walled gardens, and the deprecation of identifiers have disrupted legacy solutions. But, the rise of AI & agentic tooling, clean room technology, and alternative methodologies offer new opportunities to answer the age-old question: what is actually working? LiveRamp is uniquely positioned to power this evolution. Our identity graph, data collaboration infrastructure, partner ecosystem and cross-screen data assets form the foundation for a new generation of privacy-safe, deterministic measurement. We need a measurement expert who can bring that vision to life for our customers.
We’re hiring a Sr. Solution Engineer, Measurement to join our pre-sales team as a dedicated measurement subject matter expert. This is a hands-on role focused on LiveRamp’s full suite of measurement solutions. You’ll operate at the intersection of data science and customer engagement: advising senior measurement stakeholders on methodology, architecting measurement solutions on our platform, building rapid prototypes and experiments, and helping shape the future of LiveRamp’s measurement strategy through field-level insight and innovation.
Think of this role as LiveRamp’s measurement field scientist, someone who combines deep expertise in incrementality, attribution, media mix modeling, and causal inference with the technical skills to implement these approaches using real data and code, and the executive presence to make the case to the people who control measurement budgets.
You will:
Measurement Advisory & Consultative Sales
Serve as LiveRamp’s pre-sales measurement authority, guiding customers through the landscape of measurement methodologies—incrementality / lift testing, multi-touch attribution, media mix modeling, causal AI, and hybrid frameworks—and recommending the right approach for their specific business objectives and data maturity
Lead technical discovery and white-boarding sessions with senior measurement stakeholders (VPs of Analytics, Heads of Measurement, Data Science Leads, agency measurement teams) to diagnose challenges and design LiveRamp-powered solutions
Translate complex measurement concepts—intent-to-treat analysis, propensity scoring, difference-in-differences, synthetic control, test/control design—into narratives that resonate with both technical and C-level audiences
Partner with Sales as the technical and analytical authority in competitive measurement deals, building the credibility and trust that wins business
Solution Design & Data Architecture
Design end-to-end measurement solutions leveraging LiveRamp’s Cross-Screen Measurement product, identity graph (RampID), and clean room technology across customer verticals.
Advise customers on the data infrastructure and data science requirements to execute measurement at scale: clean room configuration, identity resolution workflows, first-party data onboarding, log-level data access, and analytical environment setup
Provide technical guidance on implementation trade-offs: Python vs. SQL for analytical workloads, in-platform computation vs. data export, deterministic vs. modeled measurement approaches, and privacy-safe data collaboration workflows
Produce detailed technical scoping documents, reference architectures, and implementation plans that bridge the pre-sales promise to post-sales delivery, ensuring seamless handoffs to Customer Success, Technical Solutions and Data Science teams.
Prototyping, Demos & Innovation
Build working prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and demo environments that bring LiveRamp’s measurement capabilities to life. Demonstrate causal inference workflows, incrementality analyses, and cross-screen attribution models within our clean room and identity infrastructure.
Experiment with emerging measurement techniques, ex. causal AI, Bayesian media mix modeling, synthetic control methods, double machine learning, and translate them into repeatable, demonstrable solutions on LiveRamp’s platform
Help create reusable technical assets (code notebooks, solution blueprints, demo scripts, analytical templates) that scale the team’s ability to address measurement use cases across the sales organization
Feed product roadmap priorities from the field, collaborating with Product and Engineering to ensure our measurement products evolve in line with what customers and the market actually need
Thought Leadership & Ecosystem Engagement
Represent LiveRamp as a measurement thought leader at industry events, conferences, and customer workshops, articulating our measurement philosophy and technical differentiation
Stay current on industry developments in cross-screen measurement, privacy-safe analytics, causal inference, identity, and the evolving competitive landscape, and bring those insights back to the team
Build relationships across the measurement ecosystem—agencies, measurement vendors, data partners, industry bodies—to strengthen LiveRamp’s positioning as a measurement infrastructure leader
About you:
8+ years of progressive experience in advertising measurement, marketing analytics, or a related quantitative discipline, including meaningful time at a specialist measurement or analytics firm (e.g., VideoAmp, Neustar/TransUnion, Nielsen, Alembic, Measured, IRI/Circana, Analytic Partners) or in an advanced measurement function at a major platform, agency, or brand
Deep domain expertise in measurement methodologies: incrementality / lift testing, multi-touch attribution, media mix modeling, and causal inference techniques (intent-to-treat, propensity scoring, difference-in-differences, synthetic control, Granger causality)
Hands-on proficiency with Python and SQL for data analysis, statistical modeling, and measurement implementation—you can open a notebook and build a working analysis, not just talk about one
Working knowledge of clean room technologies (LiveRamp, Snowflake, Databricks, AWS/AMC) and identity resolution concepts as they apply to measurement and data collaboration
Proven ability to engage and influence senior measurement stakeholders (VP+ level) in complex, consultative sales or advisory engagements—you’ve been the person in the room who shifts the conversation
The combination of executive presence and IC drive: you’re senior enough to command credibility, but you genuinely want to build demos, write code, and work hands-on with customer data teams
Exceptional communication and presentation skills—you can explain a difference-in-differences design to a CMO and a data ingestion architecture to an engineer in the same meeting
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related); Master’s degree or equivalent practical experience preferred
Preferred
Direct experience with cross-screen or multi-touch TV measurement—including linear, CTV/OTT, and digital video measurement methodologies and data sources (ACR data, set-top box, smart TV, server-side ad insertion)
Experience applying causal AI or machine learning to marketing measurement (e.g., Bayesian structural time series, double ML, causal forests, spiking neural networks, graph-based causal models)
Familiarity with LiveRamp’s identity infrastructure, RampID, and data collaboration platform
Experience in a pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting role within AdTech or MarTech
Knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA) and their implications for measurement, identity, and data collaboration
Familiarity with major cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, AWS, Azure) and their role in measurement data infrastructure
Track record of measurement-related thought leadership: white papers, conference talks, blog posts, or published research
Why You Might Be Excited About This Role
You’ll be the go-to measurement expert for one of the most important data infrastructure companies in advertising—your work will directly shape how the industry measures media effectiveness in a post-cookie, cross-screen world
LiveRamp’s identity graph and clean room infrastructure give you a unique technical foundation to build measurement solutions that no one else can—deterministic, privacy-safe, and cross-screen by design
You won’t just talk about measurement—you’ll build it. This role has real technical depth: prototyping causal models, writing code, designing data architectures, and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with LiveRamp’s stack
You’ll have a direct line to Product and Engineering to influence what LiveRamp builds next in measurement—your field insight becomes product strategy
LiveRamp is trusted by hundreds of the world’s largest brands and media companies—you’ll work on high-profile, complex measurement challenges, not small-ball implementations
Your Team
You’ll sit within LiveRamp’s Solution Engineering organization. You’ll work closely with the broader SE team (covering Identity, Connectivity, and Data Collaboration), the Cross-Screen Measurement product team, the Data Science organization, Sales, and Customer Success. While this is an individual contributor role, you’ll be the measurement center of gravity for the commercial organization, the person everyone turns to when a deal, a customer, or a product decision requires deep measurement expertise.
The approximate annual base compensation range is $171,500 to $201,500.
This position is also eligible for variable incentive compensation targeted at 33% of base salary, subject to the terms of the applicable incentive compensation plan.
