Software QA Engineer – Fusion
Kraków (Hybrid), Poland (Remote)
Reporting to: Senior SQA Manager
Position Overview

Fusion is our integrated cloud platform unifying CAD, CAM, CAE, and PCB into a single collaborative environment — increasingly enhanced with AI-driven capabilities such as intelligent design assistance, automation, and data-driven workflows.
As a Software QA Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and trustworthiness of both core Fusion functionality and AI-enabled features used by engineers worldwide.
In this role, you will:
Contribute to test planning and execution using risk-based testing approaches
Ensure comprehensive coverage for both deterministic software features and AI-driven functionality
Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases
Identify, document, and track defects with clear analysis of impact and risk
Validate AI-enabled features, including behavior consistency, edge cases, failure modes, and user impact
Apply critical thinking to assess AI-specific risks such as non-deterministic outcomes, model drift, and data sensitivity
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and cross-functional global teams
Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies
Contribute to automation efforts that scale with fast-paced, AI-enabled development
This role offers strong exposure to AI-focused quality practices while building deep expertise in modern software testing within a global product organization.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
2–4 years of professional experience in software QA or software development
Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum methodology)
Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail)
Basic knowledge of automation frameworks and scripting languages (Python or similar)
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Attention to detail and structured problem-solving mindset
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in an international team environment
Basic understanding of CAD concepts or willingness to learn
Understanding of how AI/ML-powered systems differ from traditional deterministic software
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Fusion or similar CAD/CAM platforms
Exposure to AI/ML feature validation or intelligent systems testing
Experience contributing to automation frameworks in a CI/CD environment
Familiarity with exploratory testing techniques for complex systems
