We are the EXOS L3 FT team, part of the development team, primarily responsible for the development, execution, and analysis of functional testing during the product development phase. We are committed to identifying and resolving issues early to ensure product quality and performance.
The successful candidate will assist in analyzing requirements, designing functional test cases based on those requirements, executing the tests, and submitting test reports for Calix EXOS products. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of Calix EXOS products.
Responsibilities:
Set up and maintain test beds for CPE and perform service tests on various CPE products.
Conduct Wi-Fi function tests on CPE products, including 801.11be, 802.11ax, Mesh, DFS, etc.
Perform Wi-Fi performance tests on CPE products, such as RVR and throughput tests, and analyze the results to identify performance weaknesses.
Execute system tests, including SDK upgrades, scaling, capacity, stress, and robustness tests.
Participate in developing test strategies and create test cases for Wi-Fi 7 /Wi-Fi 8 products.
Conduct regression testing on new software and hardware modules for data, video, QoS, etc.
Write clear, concise, and understandable problem descriptions and test reports.
Reproduce field issues and validate their resolution
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Optical Telecommunication, or equivalent.
Over 5 years of work experience in telecommunications or software test development.
At least 4 years of experience in Wi-Fi functional and performance testing, with a deep understanding of Wi-Fi and IPv4/IPv6 protocol stacks.
Familiarity with the Linux operating system and common command operations.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Demonstrated initiative, teamwork, and a strong drive for results and continuous improvement.
Good oral and written communication skills in English.
