Senior Strategy & Operations Manager

ABOUT EARNIN As one of the first pioneers of earned wage access, our passion at EarnIn is building products that deliver real-time financial flexibility for people living paycheck to paycheck. Our community members access their earnings as they earn them, with options to spend, save, and grow their money without mandatory fees, interest rates, or credit checks. We’re fortunate to have an incredibly experienced leadership team, combined with world-class funding partners like A16Z, Matrix Partners, DST, Ribbit Capital, and a very healthy core business with a tremendous runway. We’re growing fast and excited to bring on world-class talent to help shape the next chapter of our growth journey. EarnIn is becoming an AI-native company, embedding AI agents into how we build, analyze, and operate across every function. Teams use AI Agents to move from ideas to execution faster. By letting agents handle repetitive tasks, our people can focus on judgment, creativity, and hard problems. We pair this experimentation with the strict review and security guardrails our regulated financial environment requires, always keeping a focus on privacy and the people who rely on our products. As a company, we are becoming AI-native, and we encourage you to use AI tools throughout much of your interview process. If you use AI during the live interview, just say so; a quick, natural mention of how it helped and why you are using it is all we need. What we're evaluating is your judgment, reasoning, and ability to own and defend your work, not whether AI was involved. Some rounds, particularly those focused on your career history and past experiences, will not allow the use of AI, and we'll let you know of those in advance. When in doubt, ask your recruiter or interviewer directly. POSITION SUMMARY As a Senior Operations and Strategy Manager, you’ll help bring our mission to life. You’ll shape business strategy and success from the ground up, covering customer insights, go-to-market, customer adoption, product, and operations. EarnIn is making AI-native work a core capability. It’s how we design, build, and ship, not an initiative. In this role, you’ll apply that to how the business runs. You’ll operate like an early general manager: understanding business economics, defining strategy, and breaking big goals into work that gets done. As EarnIn adds business units, you may be placed where the need is greatest. You’ll influence and develop the strategies for how EarnIn becomes a market leader. That includes defining new bets, incubating 0-1 experiments, scoping partnership opportunities, and executing on initiatives that drive growth and adoption. You’ll be both a strategist and a builder, and you’ll employ everything in your toolkit to architect strategy, discover new insights, and drive execution. Agents and AI workflows you help put in place will run in production, so they need to be fast, safe, and durable. The people who depend on EarnIn to access their pay when it matters most are the reason this work matters. The Mountain View base salary range for this full-time position is $153,000-$187,000, plus equity and benefits. We determine salary ranges by role, level, and location. This hybrid position in Mountain View requires in-office work 2 days a week. WHAT YOU'LL DO Partner with the GMs to define the vision, then own and scale this opportunity with product, sales, operations, business development, finance, and other teams. Develop the roadmap and key proof points for B2B initiatives, and work with a small cross-functional team to bring the vision to life. Experiment quickly to drive go-to-market and customer adoption, then turn what you learn into scalable playbooks we use going forward. Identify where manual work in B2B go-to-market, adoption, and account operations can be replaced with agentic workflows, and partner with engineering to build them. Take AI pilots from experiment to production by turning what works into playbooks, templates, and reference implementations other teams can reuse. Make successful pilots sustainable so the next team can run them without starting over. Partner with business development, sales, and account management to create pitch decks and sales content that generate new business opportunities. Create innovative solutions that drive growth and operational excellence, and implement product testing and roll-outs on the ground. Look at each step of how the B2B business operates and ask: why isn’t an agent doing this? Establish and monitor performance metrics, and make results visible and trustworthy. Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership, including the executive team, and build consensus to drive new work. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Bachelor’s degree required. MBA or Master’s degree is a plus. 4+ years of experience in Strategy and Operations, Consulting, Customer Success, Sales, Business Development, and/or Partnerships. Experience in startups, lean business units, or product incubation teams, where you owned work end-to-end with limited support, is advantageous. Hands-on experience using AI tools or agentic workflows to automate or improve business operations, such as GTM, sales, or customer success work A curious, sharp, first-principles thinker who is both a strategist and a builder, comfortable with ambiguity, and energized by solving hard problems Experience leading cross-functional projects and hitting goals, including influencing and building alignment up to the executive level Comfort speaking directly with customers and partners, working with product and engineering, and managing revenue and costs Experience taking a pilot or experiment to a repeatable process other teams actually use Very strong verbal and written communication, and equal comfort interfacing internally and externally Strong data retrieval, analytics, and presentation skills, and comfort using data to drive decisions Enthusiasm for test and learn, no fear of failure, and demonstrated success in the face of roadblocks and limited resources A high degree of ownership, with curiosity across finance, marketing, and operations rather than staying in one lane You'll Stand Out If You Have: SQL experience 0-1 experience in fintech products Experience in fintech or regulated, security-sensitive environments Experience with AI governance in a regulated environment #LI-Hybrid At EarnIn, we believe that the best way to build a financial system that works for everyday people is by hiring a team that represents our diverse community.
