Role Overview
The Senior SAP BPE Consultant (O2C) is responsible for driving end‑to‑end Order‑to‑Cash process design, harmonization, and global template adoption during an S/4HANA rollout. The role ensures that local business requirements are aligned with the global O2C template, covering order management, pricing, delivery, billing, credit management, and integration with logistics and finance.
Key Responsibilities
1. O2C Process Design & Template Alignment
Lead AS‑IS analysis and gather local O2C requirements (Order Entry, Delivery, Billing, Pricing, Credit).
Conduct TO‑BE workshops to explain S/4HANA O2C template processes and obtain business adoption.
Validate local legal/statutory requirements (tax, e‑invoice, document numbering) and map them to template capabilities.
2. Fit‑Gap & Functional Design for O2C
Document O2C fit‑gap items with clear classification (standard vs. enhancement vs. workaround).
Collaborate with functional consultants to design O2C enhancements such as pricing rules, billing formats, credit controls, output forms, and integration points.
Ensure O2C processes remain compliant with global template governance.
3. Testing Execution (UAT & SIT)
Define O2C test scenarios including order creation, delivery execution, billing, tax calculation, e‑invoice triggering, and integration with FI/CO.
Coordinate UAT with business SMEs and support defect management.
Validate end‑to‑end O2C integration across SD–MM–FI.
4. Data Migration Support (O2C Data Objects)
Review data mapping for customer master, pricing conditions, credit limits, sales org data, and open items.
Support data validation and reconciliation during migration cycles.
5. Cutover, Go‑Live & Hypercare
Contribute to cutover planning for O2C tasks (open orders, billing backlog, pricing loads, credit data).
Support business during go‑live and stabilization, ensuring issues are triaged and resolved promptly.
Provide knowledge transfer and handover to support teams.
6. Project Governance & Stakeholder Management
Act as bridge between global process owners, local business stakeholders, and SAP delivery teams.
Maintain O2C process documentation: workflows, SOPs, training materials, functional documents.
Ensure compliance with rollout methodology, project quality gates, and process governance standards.
Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA or ECC SD with deep functional knowledge of O2C.
Hands‑on experience in S/4HANA rollout, multi‑site deployment, or global template adoption.
Solid understanding of O2C processes: Sales Order, Delivery, Billing, Pricing, Credit Management, Tax, E‑invoice integration.
Proficiency in fit‑gap analysis, functional design, UAT, SIT, and cutover activities.
Strong facilitation, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
