What You Will Achieve
In this role, you will:
Plan, issue, and manage production schedules to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials and equipment based on production and inventory requirements.
Facilitate interdepartmental planning activities with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, and traffic.
Prepare and analyze distributed supply requirements for cross-site discussions, optimizing the balance of raw material inventory needed to support production across the supply chain network.
Collaborate with network stakeholders to resolve demand signal issues and work with the MD team to define and set necessary system parameters.
Serve as the point-of-contact for brand- and site-related queries, sharing urgent issues with the Site Planner and using cross-site forums to flag demand signal issues.
Incorporate new product demands into the plan, manage FG/DP/API inventory for assigned brands, monitor monthly levels, and address model system demand gaps caused by source and product changes using system tools.
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience or associate’s degree with 2+ years of experience or MBA/MS with any years of relevant experience
Proficiency in Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
Solid understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning systems such as Maestro (Rapid response), SAP, including Bill of Materials, Recipe Routings, Shop Floor Control, and MRP
Familiarity with System Application & Products and Good Manufacturing Practices (part of GxP)
Strong communication skills
Advanced proficiency in the MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and Copilot
Ability to prioritize effectively
English required (intermediate-Advanced)
Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)
Relevant pharmaceutical experience
Substantial working experience in various Supply Chain related fields such as planning, scheduling, procurement, logistics, customer service, or demand management
Experience in a planning role within the pharmaceutical or chemical industry
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Experience with project management
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure
Experience using common AI tools, including generative technologies such as Microsoft Copilot, to support problem solving and enhance productivity. Demonstrated curiosity for exploring how these tools can improve outcomes and understanding of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use
