A Day in the Life
Acting as a Senior Marketing Manager you will develop and execute strategic marketing programs to support the launch, promotion, and lifecycle management of medical device products. This position requires a deep understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, including regulatory and compliance considerations, to ensure all marketing activities meet industry standards.
The ideal candidate will drive cross-functional collaboration with product management, clinical, regulatory, and sales teams to create targeted campaigns that engage healthcare professionals, hospital systems, and patients. With a strong focus on project management, market research, and data-driven decision-making, the Senior Marketing Manager will lead initiatives that enhance brand visibility, support commercial objectives, and contribute to improve patient outcomes. Your role will cover all Latin America for our Structural Heart portfolio (TAVI and CHD), requiring travel within the region (up to 40% of the time) to support regional initiatives and engage with stakeholders. We also offer a flexible working model, which combines in-office and remote work, offering a balanced professional environment.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Define and execute the regional strategy aligned with global Structural Heart priorities, delivering AOP targets including revenue growth, market share, and profitability, identifying new market opportunities and expansion pathways across Latin America and leading long-range planning (LRP) and portfolio prioritization
Oversee the full Structural Heart portfolio (TAVI and CHD), driving product launches, lifecycle strategies, and portfolio optimization, ensuring strong value proposition and differentiation across therapies and aligning portfolio strategy with clinical evidence and market needs
Partner with Sales leadership to ensure flawless execution in-country, driving segmentation, targeting, and resource allocation strategies by monitoring KPIs and implementing corrective actions to ensure performance delivery and leading pricing strategies in collaboration with Market Access
Expand therapy awareness and adoption across priority markets, building and strengthening relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), supporting physician training, proctoring programs, and clinical education and collaborating with Medical Affairs to elevate clinical evidence and outcomes
Lead and influence cross-functional teams as Sales, Clinical, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Regulatory, and Global Marketing, ensuring alignment between regional and global stakeholders and driving a “one team” mindset across countries and functions
Build, lead, and develop a high-performing regional marketing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation, coaching and developing future leaders within the organization
Engage with physicians, hospital administrators, and healthcare systems, supporting market access initiatives and reimbursement strategies as well as representing Medtronic at regional congresses and industry forums
Ensure adherence to all regulatory, legal, and ethical standards and uphold Medtronic’s Code of Conduct and quality requirements
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
8+ years of experience in MedTech, preferably in cardiovascular or structural heart
Strong understanding of Latin America healthcare systems and market dynamics
Experience managing complex, multi-country organizations
Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and global teams
Fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish
