Position Summary
This is a high-impact strategy and operations role that sits at the center of one of BMS's most important growth priorities; the build-out of the US Neuroscience marketing organization. This role carries a dual mandate that is both enterprise-facing and brand-specific:
1. US Neuroscience Portfolio Strategy & Operations: Serve as the primary S&O partner to the VP, US Marketing, Neuroscience in building and operationalizing a growing commercial organization. This is a unique and highly visible opportunity to help shape how the Neuroscience team is structured, how it operates, and how it scales across cross-functional brand leadership teams. Responsibilities include establishing ways of working, driving cross-brand synergies across both the Cobenfy and Zeposia franchises, building governance frameworks, and ensuring the organization is fully prepared for future Cobenfy indication launches in Bipolar Disease and Alzheimer's Disease, if approved by the FDA. This work spans psychiatry, neurology, and specialty neurology — and requires someone who can work seamlessly alongside the S&O leads embedded within each brand team, connect across organizational seams, think ahead, and bring structure to complexity.
2. Schizophrenia Strategy & Operations: Serve as the primary S&O partner supporting the schizophrenia business, driving performance management, brand planning, and cross-functional coordination to accelerate growth of this critical foundational indication.

Position Responsibilities
US Neuroscience Portfolio Strategy and Operations
Ways of Working: Partner with the VP, US Marketing, Neuroscience to define and institutionalize ways of working across the growing Neuroscience Marketing organization, spanning the SCZ & BPD, ADP, HCP Market Development, and Zeposia teams
Governance & Cadence: Design and implement governance frameworks, meeting cadences, and decision-making structures that enable effective cross-indication coordination and prepare the organization for multi-indication commercial complexity
Indication Launch Readiness: Support operational planning efforts in anticipation of future Cobenfy indication launches (Bipolar Disease and Alzheimer's Disease Psychosis, if approved by the FDA), ensuring that infrastructure, processes, and team norms are in place ahead of key milestones
AI: Drive the Neuroscience AI strategy and operating model in the US Marketing organization, identify high-impact use cases and ensure benefits tracking and value realization, act as a champion to build AI fluency across the organization
Organizational Integration: Help integrate new team members and functions as the Neuroscience Marketing organization expands; serve as a connective resource across the VP-level marketing leadership team
Strategic Initiatives: Lead or co-lead critical cross-functional strategic initiatives on behalf of the VP, US Marketing, Neuroscience, helping to align priorities, resolve bottlenecks, and accelerate readiness across the broader team
US Cobenfy Schizophrenia – In-Market Commercial Operations
Brand Performance: Serve as the commercial S&O point of contact to liaise with BI&T, Finance, and the US Cobenfy SCZ brand team to develop and refine the Cobenfy brand narrative for leadership reviews and through the budget process; track performance against targets and provide regular reporting to leadership
Brand Planning: Lead the annual and ongoing brand planning process for the SCZ franchise, ensuring cohesive strategic and functional plans that drive innovation, growth, and alignment across indication teams; facilitate roll-up across indications
Cross-Functional Reporting: Coordinate and compile key performance metrics for the brand in schizophrenia; prepare and present insights for regular matrix review forums; maintain accountability on action items across the team
Matrix Interface: Serve as the critical interface between the SCZ brand team and key matrix partners (BI&T, Medical Affairs, Sales, Market Research, Reimbursement, Trade, Payer Marketing, Corporate Affairs, etc.) to drive strategic focus areas and surface key issues proactively
Leadership Preparation: Support the VP, US Cobenfy SCZ & BPD in preparing for engagement with the broader organization and external audiences, including senior management reviews, business reviews, POA planning, budget reviews, and contribution-setting processes
Desired Experience
BA/BS degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred but not required
Minimum 10 years of relevant commercial experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
In-market commercial experience required; prior experience supporting a post-launch brand strongly preferred
Demonstrated experience in organizational design, team build-out, or change management is a plus
Very strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information for senior leadership audiences
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; proven ability to build alignment and drive performance across matrix teams through personal influence
Ability to work independently in a fast-moving, complex, and evolving environment with limited direction
Comfortable operating with ambiguity and proactively creating structure where it does not yet exist
Willingness to travel up to 25%

Compensation Overview:
Princeton - NJ - US: $214,610 - $260,054 

The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee’s work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience. Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.

Paid Time Off
US Exempt Employees: flexible time off (unlimited, with manager approval, 11 paid national holidays (not applicable to employees in Phoenix, AZ, Puerto Rico or Rayzebio employees)

*Eligibility Disclosure: The summer hours program is for United States (U.S.) office-based employees due to the unique nature of their work.
