Profile Overview
Senior Business Analyst – Healthcare Information Systems is a critical client-facing role focused on the analysis and implementation of healthcare IT solutions. This position leverages a strong clinical background and in-depth understanding of local and EU healthcare regulatory requirements to guide business requirement studies, ensure compliance, and deliver effective systems tailored to clinical and administrative needs.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead comprehensive business requirement studies with healthcare clients, ensuring all stakeholder needs are understood and documented.
· Engage directly with clients, including clinical and administrative teams, to facilitate requirements gathering and solution design.
· Ensure all systems and processes comply with relevant local and EU healthcare regulations, including data protection and clinical safety standards.
· Analyze existing healthcare information systems and identify opportunities for improvement, optimization, or regulatory alignment.
· Prepare clear documentation of business requirements, process flows, and regulatory considerations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
· Collaborate with IT, compliance, and clinical teams to translate business needs into actionable system specifications.
· Support project delivery, including user acceptance testing and post-implementation review, to confirm solutions meet business and regulatory requirements.
· Assist project manager on project planning and scheduling.
Required Qualifications
· Demonstrated experience working with healthcare information systems in a hospital, clinical, or public health environment.
· Good knowledge of local and EU healthcare regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, MDR, local health authority requirements).
· Proven ability to lead business analysis activities with multidisciplinary teams and external clients.
Skills and Competencies
· Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex clinical workflows and regulatory requirements.
· Exceptional communication abilities, both verbal and written, to interact with diverse stakeholders.
· Demonstrated leadership in facilitating workshops, meetings, and requirement-gathering sessions.
· Expertise in healthcare regulatory compliance, including data privacy, patient safety, and clinical governance.
· Proficiency in documentation, process mapping, and business analysis tools.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic healthcare setting.
