Senior 3DX Programmer/Analyst

Boeing Australia is currently seeking to recruit a Senior 3DX Programmer/Analyst to be based in our Brisbane (preferred) or Melbourne location in a hybrid capacity.
The Senior 3DX Programmer/Analyst will play a key role ensuring operational stability, availability and evolution of the 3DX (Dassault) platform.
Focus areas include environment provisioning and management, coordinated upgrades/patches/releases, configuration governance, enterprise system integration and escalated technical troubleshooting.
The role partners with business stakeholders, IT leadership, suppliers and engineering SMEs to deliver secure, scalable and business-aligned PLM services.
Due to the International nature of the role and business as a whole, there may be the requirement to support after hours meetings and calls, however flexibility is encouraged. Some domestic or international travel may be required.
About the Role:
Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancement of the 3DX platform, ensuring system stability and efficiency.
Work closely with business stakeholders, IT leadership, and vendors to define the future state of PLM capabilities.
Define and document governance frameworks for configuration management, system changes, and customization policies.
Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and software releases with minimal disruption to operations.
Engage with functional and technical subject matter experts to address customer requirements within the 3DX Platform (including CATIA, ENOVIA, DELMIA).
Configure, customize, and maintain 3DX platform components, including FCS, FTS, and indexing areas.
Mentor and develop a multi-functional team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Act as a technical interface between internal customers and vendors, ensuring alignment of business needs with technical solutions.
Support integration with enterprise systems such as ERP, MoM, MES, ALM, JIRA, and other IT applications.
Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency and support lean, agile approaches to PLM management.
Act as a technical authority for complex system issues, providing expertise in troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
5+ years of experience in 3DX platform development, customization, and configuration.
Deep hands-on experience with Dassault 3DX platform administration and architecture (i.e. ENOVIA, CATIA, DELMIA).
Proven track record of planning and executing complex upgrades/migrations in multi-environment landscapes.
Strong integration experience (SAP/S4HANA, MOM/MES, ALM, JIRA), middleware and indexing/search technologies.
Solid grounding in configuration management, change governance and release management processes.
Technical troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills across application, middleware and infrastructure layers.
Experience mentoring technical teams and working with external system integrators/vendors.
On-prem environment experience, including capacity planning and security/stability best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical solutions in layman’s terms.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-performance team environment.
Australian citizen with the ability to obtain a NV1 clearance
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Exposure to AWS or Azure
