About the opportunity:
Hitachi Energy is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales & Marketing Manager to join its Grid Integration Business Unit based in Bahrain. The candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth and developing innovative marketing strategies to expand market share and enhance brand visibility across various Grid Integration portfolio product lines and services.
Your role:
Promote and sell Hitachi Energy's Grid Integration portfolio briefly defined under the Area of Focus below.
Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities through lead generation, prospecting, and customer engagement.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships by understanding customer requirements and delivering tailored technical and commercial solutions. Ensure a positive customer experience throughout the entire sales lifecycle, from opportunity identification to contract award
Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and business plans using CRM and reporting tools such as Salesforce and Power BI.
Conduct regular opportunity and pipeline reviews, implementing corrective actions and recovery plans to mitigate potential order shortfalls.
Perform market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities, with a particular focus on renewable energy markets.
Prepare and deliver impactful sales presentations, solution proposals, and product demonstrations to customers and key stakeholders.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants, EPC contractors, utilities, partners, and other key stakeholders.

Your background:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
Minimum 10 - 12 years of experience in the Power transmission, distribution and industry segments.
Knowledge on Substations, FACTS solutions, Prefabricated / Containerized Substations, Power Quality Solutions & BESS.
Strong understanding of renewable energy integration, data center electrification and grid modernization solutions.
Proven experience in developing and executing successful sales and market development strategies.
Strong understanding of the B2B sales cycle, including opportunity management, bid management, contract negotiations, and customer relationship management.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in spoken and written English.
Experience with CRM and reporting tools such as Salesforce and Power BI will be an advantage.
