Job Description:
The Product Specialist will support global real estate capital raising support efforts and relationships with limited partners for the Blackstone Real Estate Debt Strategies (“BREDS”) business. The Product Specialist will spend significant time with members of BREDS, including the investment, asset management, legal/compliance, and finance teams and other groups within Real Estate and the broader firm, including Blackstone Credit and Insurance (BXCI) teams. The Product Specialist will spearhead multiple projects at one time employing a range of skillsets. This role is primarily focused on supporting sales and assisting in marketing the BREDS funds. The main areas of responsibility for the Product Specialist include:
Support BREDS fund launches including the preparation of presentation materials, private placement memoranda and oversight of investor diligence
Lead ad hoc business development initiatives including support the creation of new products, strategic projects and new business proposals
Create and provide strategic input with presentation materials, talking points, investment memorandums, and investor communications (e.g. quarterly letters, drawdown and distribution memos and investor notices)
Conduct and analyze macroeconomic and real estate research and provide timely updates to the sales teams on newsworthy market events impacting real estate debt
Effectively communicate with investors to provide updates and communicate current strategies, as well as future initiatives
This professional will have active involvement with the senior leaders of Blackstone Real Estate and BXCI and work closely with strong investment and highly productive fundraising teams. They will be responsible for serving as the subject matter expert across various investments and delivering substantive information and updates to prospective and existing investors, collaborating with the broader Blackstone Real Estate team.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have experience in credit/debt and should bring credibility and be capable of easily interacting with both investment and capital raising/investor relations teams as well as sophisticated limited partners. This professional should possess strong written and verbal communication skills and have experience creating, adapting and delivering detailed and technical information for various investor types/audiences, based on their needs and investment interests. This professional should be capable of managing multiple initiatives and collaborating across various teams within a firm including but not limited to investments, capital raising/investor relations, finance, operations, and legal/compliance.
This professional should be highly motivated, have sound judgment, and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. They should also possess strong analytical and time management skills.
The successful candidate will also possess the following professional attributes:
Work experience in real estate structured products or credit and/or investor relations
Strong presentation skills with experience creating compelling, detailed materials and information for existing and prospective investors; Strong proficiency in PowerPoint
Strong communication skills and demonstrated experience writing effectively; prior experience interacting with investors is preferred
Leadership and project management experience
Strong attention to detail
Experience multi-tasking and executing a wide range of assignments
Self-motivated and a team-oriented individual who thrives on challenge in a dynamic environment - often under competing deadlines
Strong work ethic, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a desire to learn
Operate with the highest degree of professionalism, motivation, and intellectual curiosity

Expected annual base salary range:
$215,000 - $250,000
Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation and benefits offered in connection with the role consist of comprehensive health benefits, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, and FSA benefits; paid time off; life insurance; 401(k) plan; and discretionary bonuses. Certain employees may also be eligible for equity and other incentive compensation at Blackstone’s sole discretion.
