Principal Engineer Lead/Manager, Process Development, Wet Process, NAND

We are looking for high energy, self-motivated, result driven individual for NAND Process Development Wet Process Manager/Lead role.  The individual will lead a team of exceptional engineers to identify, prioritize and drive process solutions under the 15-month cadence umbrella for yield, reliability and cost gaps for NAND technology nodes in different stages of technology introduction and development. Responsibilities: Maintain safe environment through proactive safety practices and by ensuring safety policies are always followed Hire, develop, mentor, and manage a team of highly capable process engineers Create a culture of innovation and tenacity within group to meet the needs of accelerated technology cadence Provide regular feedback to your team members on performance, developing a career plan and mentoring the team members to support their professional development, through Micron’s performance planning and appraisal process Set strategy for future technology nodes and help define roadmap Engage with suppliers to develop the process and equipment needed to meet Micron’s technology roadmap Collaborate with other process development, process integration, manufacturing development to align on project priorities and deliver robust, manufacturing friendly processes on time Partner with Manufacturing fab for effective transfer, pilot ramp and ongoing development to achieve TECHNODE gate criteria Engage with Procurement & Operations Central Teams and lead worldwide alignment efforts across technology to improve area efficiency This position requires communications and collaboration with partners both locally and globally. Strict adherence to Micron Intellectual Property protection policy is a must Requirements: Bachelors/Master's in Electrical/Electronics, Chemical, Material Science, Microelectronics, Chemistry or Physics with minimum 10yrs experience in the semiconductor industry in Wet Process, or PhD in Electrical/Electronics, Chemical, Material Science, Microelectronics, Chemistry or Physics with minimum 5yrs experience in the semiconductor industry in Wet Process Possess a deep understanding of the process technologies such as Vapor etch, wet strip, etc Demonstrated ability to lead successful projects and experience overseeing a wet process engineering team Must be able to instill a department culture within each team member in-line with the company core values Must be an excellent communicator (verbal and written) Demonstrated ability to take calculated risks challenging oneself and others to execute on new solutions Must be seen by current reports as an excellent mentor, team builder, motivator and technical expert with proven ability to solicit feedback, accept input, and analyze success/failure Must offer strategic thinking within the context of the PD leadership team in topics of team engagement, group morale, conducive working atmosphere and work culture About Micron Technology, Inc.
