Job Description
The Pricing Specialist is responsible for ensuring adherence to company commercial policies and guidelines, maintaining pricing integrity across the Imaging Informatics business while supporting compliance efforts, working under general supervision of the Strategic Pricing Analyst. The role conducts detailed analysis of price variances, identifies trends, and recommends strategic pricing improvements to enhance revenue and profitability, while assessing margins for low-margin customers and products and providing strategic recommendations for improved profitability.
The role supports both Radiology and Cardiology Imaging Informatics portfolios and plays a key role in enabling commercial excellence through the deployment, governance, and continuous improvement of pricing and quoting tools, including the BoB quoting tool and catalog updates. In addition, the role actively supports migration from legacy solutions to standard Philips commercial and pricing platforms (PIL), ensuring consistency, transparency, and scalability across regions.
The role implements advanced pricing tools, drives project execution aligned with business objectives, and provides ongoing support and training to ensure optimal utilization. The role tracks critical pricing indicators, linking pricing strategies with key performance metrics such as Net Promoter Score (NPS), market share, and margin performance, to inform strategic decisions and strengthen market positioning.
Your role:
Analyze price variances within assigned scopes using detailed data analysis to identify patterns and trends, and recommend strategic improvements to optimize revenue and profitability across Imaging Informatics markets.
Assess margins for low-margin customers, contracts, and products within Radiology and Cardiology, identifying opportunities for improvement and providing data-driven recommendations to enhance overall profitability.
Support high-stakes customer negotiations by providing pricing expertise, scenario analysis, and strategic input that align with Philips commercial policies and business objectives.
Support the governance, deployment, and ongoing use of quoting tools, including the BoB quoting tool, ensuring pricing accuracy, policy compliance, and correct application of approval workflows.
Actively contribute to the migration from legacy pricing and quoting tools to standard Philips platforms (PIL), including data validation, business readiness activities, and coordination with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and IT.
Provide pricing and tool-related support to Radiology and Cardiology commercial teams, ensuring consistent application of pricing logic, discount structures, and commercial policies.
Support change management, training, and user enablement related to new pricing and quoting tools to drive adoption, data quality, and commercial effectiveness.
Track and analyze critical pricing KPIs, linking pricing strategies with NPS, market share, and win-rate data to support continuous improvement in commercial performance.
Coordinate portfolio and pricing communication toward Regions and Zones, ensuring timely and accurate dissemination of pricing guidelines and updates.
Build strong cross-functional relationships with Sales, Product, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams, acting as a key liaison to support pricing governance, execution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
You're a right fit if:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Strategy, Auditing, Accounting, Management Engineering, or equivalent.
No prior experience required with a bachelor’s degree, or a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience with Vocational Education in Pricing, Commercial, Finance, Strategic Management, Auditing, or similar areas.
Stakeholder management across global and regional organizations
Pricing strategy development and execution
Commercial and quoting tools (e.g. BoB, CPQ solutions)
Pricing system and tool migration (e.g. PIL or equivalent enterprise platforms)
Financial and margin analysis
Advanced Microsoft Excel (e.g. pivot tables, Power Query, complex formulas)
Python programming (optional, for data analysis and automation)
ERP and enterprise commercial systems
Data analysis and interpretation
Contract and policy governance
Project and change management
