As a People & Culture Partner you will be responsible for partnering with business leaders to align HR strategies with organizational goals, supporting employee lifecycle processes, and providing guidance on performance management, employee relations, and organizational development. You will manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, including workforce planning, talent development, and HR policy implementation. Additionally, you will support and escalate complex employee matters as needed and act as a trusted advisor and resource within the HR team.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as leadership, talent acquisition, learning and development, and operations to ensure a consistent and effective people strategy across the organization.
To be successful as in the role, you should have excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and HR systems (such as HRIS platforms). You should be able to build strong relationships, influence stakeholders, and work both independently and collaboratively while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Responsibilities
Proactively handle employee relations issues with staff and management
Keep up-to-date on applicable HR legislation and make recommendations for enhancements to employee handbooks
Work with Managers to coach, develop and improve employees
Work with Managers on goal development and tracking for employees
Work with Legal team on development of contracts, policies and all employment law matters
Manage exit process including terminations, exit interview and all documentation
Provide guidance and direction to junior level HR team members
Administration and enhancement of existing HR programs
Develop, implement and administer new HR programs
Assist with the development and promotion of the SOTI Employer Brand and Value Proposition, both internally and externally
Work with leadership on process improvements and facilitating changes
Work with members of the HR team on learning and development initiatives, talent acquisition events and projects and other projects as assigned
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in HR role
Post-secondary education in Human Resources or related discipline
Experience with HRIS
Demonstrates a strong knowledge of organizational change, culture transformation process and change management
Ability to prioritize high volume of projects
Ability to manage and complete tasks from start to finish
