About the Role:
The Partner Sales Director is a high‑impact leadership role at the centre of Kong’s next phase of partner‑led growth. You’ll shape and scale a world‑class partner ecosystem across channel, technology, GSI, and cloud alliances—unlocking new revenue and amplifying Kong’s reach. What You’ll Own:
- Drive tight alignment with the Regional VP and Regional Directors to build and execute region‑wide GTM strategies.
- Assess market dynamics to ensure optimal partner coverage that accelerates Field Sales success.
- Lead cross‑functional alignment across marketing, support, CX, and more
- Continually refine the GTM model to stay ahead of industry shifts and partner opportunities.
What You Bring:
- A proven track record of smashing revenue targets
- Hands‑on experience running GTM motions across all partner types: Channel, Tech Alliances, Cloud, and GSIs
- Strong relationships with top national VARs/SIs (WWT, Trace3, Slalom, etc.)
- Passion for generating net-new, sourced business through the partner ecosystem
- Ability to excel in a high‑velocity, multi‑tasking environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
