OTC Trader

About the Role We are looking for a commercially driven OTC Crypto Trader to join our team in Zug. In this role, you will be directly responsible for growing the desk’s PnL and executing block trades across digital asset markets. You will be entrusted with large ticket sizes and expected to operate with professionalism, discretion, and a sharp commercial instinct. Key Responsibilities Manage risk effectively on large ticket transactions, ensuring best execution and competitive pricing Monitor markets and maintain awareness of macro and crypto-specific developments affecting trading Collaborate with internal teams including technology, compliance, and operations Requirements Minimum 2 years of trading experience, ideally on a flow or block trading desk Traditional finance or non-crypto trading backgrounds welcome; crypto trading experience is a strong plus Demonstrable track record of handling large notional trades with sound risk management Intermediate Python skills — comfortable with data analysis, scripting, and trade tooling Commercially driven with a strong client-facing mindset Trustworthy, reliable, and able to exercise independent judgment under pressure Work nonstandard weeks i.e. cover weekends and evening shifts as required in exchange for off days on other weekdays What We Offer Competitive base salary and performance-linked bonus structure Exposure to a fast-growing, high-conviction crypto trading operation Access to deep liquidity and a broad institutional counterparty network Collaborative team environment in Zug, one of Europe’s premier crypto hubs Opportunity for significant career progression as the firm scales About Us IMC is a global trading firm powered by a cutting-edge research environment and a world-class technology backbone.
