Operations & Engineering Site Lead The Opportunity: As the Operations & Engineering Site Lead, you understand the workings behind complex systems and architectures that support Command and Control, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C2ISR) programs. That knowledge is key when it comes to providing technical oversight and direct support with advanced Air, Ground, and Maritime ISR systems, as well as SATCOM and Network Operations support throughout the critical operational environments across global installations.   At Booz Allen, you’ll use your engineering and management skills to support a broad range of mission partners in the DoW. Our team performs a wide range of technical development, engineering, integration, cybersecurity, and testing and evaluation of existing and new systems, including Cloud transport, SD-WAN/LAN network transport infrastructure and configurations, RF/SATCOM communication systems, and the associated cybersecurity posture for manned and unmanned ISR assets required under the DoW. This includes implementing best practices to enhance the C2ISR system performance and guarantee operational stability of infrastructure supporting mission-critical systems with seamless integration into ongoing military operations.  That’s why we need you, a technical leader who understands what “No-Fail” means. You will elevate team effectiveness by taking initiative beyond assigned responsibilities to support mission objectives and provide technical leadership encompassing deployment, maintenance, optimization, and command and control for manned and unmanned C2ISR systems. Additionally, you’ll direct, advise, and assist teams with SATCOM and Network Operation Center operations, operational site integrations, proactively testing and evaluating emerging capabilities for future requirements, monitoring system functionality, managing security compliance with established military standards, reinforcing configuration management rigor and standards, and directly reporting, advising, and directing on behalf of the government customer.   Join us. The world can't wait.   You Have:  10+ years of experience ensuring reliable operations of RF, SATCOM channels, transport networks, and mission communications in support of C2ISR operations   10+ years of experience optimizing core systems, conducting robust network and software testing, sustaining operational reliability, and supervising cross-functional teams, including senior systems engineers Ability to prepare written documents, including reports, test plans, design specifications, requirements documents, and training materials   Ability to brief and present findings to clients, customers, and external partners Secret clearance Bachelor's degree  Ability to obtain a DoD 8570.01-M or DoDM 8140.03 Certification such as Security+ Certification within 60 days of start date  Nice If You Have:    Experience with U.S. SOCOM AISR Sensor Data Transport Infrastructure and its supporting communications architecture, including UVDS connectivity  Experience with ISR Sensor Data Transport Infrastructure and its supporting communications architecture  Experience with sensor producing platform integration, SATCOM Ground Terminals used to downlink the produced sensor data, the processing and distribution ground entry points or gateways used to process and distribute the sensor data, and the terrestrial transport used to route or deliver the processed sensor data to, with, or among the intended or authorized consumers  CESP, CCNA, CCNP, or AWS Cloud Architect Certification  Clearance:  Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
