Marketing & Communication Specialist will support the execution of marketing programs and communications across our diagnostics portfolio. This role plays a critical part in enabling our commercial teams by delivering high‑quality marketing materials, internal and external communications, and coordinated campaign support.
You’ll work closely with ANZ Marketing, Sales, Applications, Quality/Regulatory and Regional teams to ensure consistent messaging, strong execution, and effective engagement with internal stakeholders and customers.
This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented, proactive, marketing associate who enjoys balancing coordination, creativity, and communications in a fast‑paced Life Science environment.

As a Marketing & Communication Specialist, you’ll partner closely with our ANZ Marketing, Sales, Applications and Regional teams to deliver high‑quality marketing materials, campaigns, and communications that empower our commercial teams and enhance customer engagement.

Your Day-to-Day
Support execution of ANZ marketing and communication activities across BD Diagnostic Solutions, including:
Coordinating delivery of ANZ marketing plans, campaigns, and product launches
Developing and localising marketing materials including brochures, flyers, presentations, and digital assets
Managing campaign timelines, approvals, tracking and coordination with regional/global teams
Supporting conferences, workshops and customer events including logistics, content prep and post‑event actions
Creating and managing internal communications (emails, newsletters, updates, launch communications)
Assisting with customer announcements, promotional messaging and external communication touchpoints
Ensuring message consistency, tone alignment and brand integrity across all channels
Supporting digital content updates, website changes, and coordination with regional digital teams
Assisting with proofreading, compliance checks, and content planning
Preparing sales tools such as slide decks, product overviews and campaign kits
Acting as the central coordination point between ANZ, regional and global stakeholders
Maintaining marketing trackers, asset libraries, and documentation
Supporting reporting of campaign performance, event outcomes and engagement metrics
Ensuring all materials comply with QMS, regulatory and brand requirements
About You
You are a highly organised, motivated marketing professional who enjoys coordination, communication, and supporting teams to succeed in a fast paced environment. You’re comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and can manage competing priorities with attention to detail.
You bring a positive, collaborative mindset and are eager to learn and grow within a global Life Science environment.
You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Life Sciences, or related field
1–3 years’ experience in marketing, communications, or commercial support (MedTech, healthcare, or Life Science preferred)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience coordinating materials, campaigns, and/or events
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); familiarity with digital tools is an advantage
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Proactive, adaptable, and keen to take initiative
Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills
Comfortable working in a matrixed, fast‑paced organisation
