WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a high-energy, forward-leaning QA Manager to lead and evolve our quality engineering function. This role is responsible for building and scaling a high-performing QA organization, modernizing how quality is achieved, and partnering closely with Engineering, Product, and DevOps to ensure we deliver reliable, high-quality products at speed.
The ideal candidate is ambitious, technically strong, and AI-forward. This is someone who is not satisfied with maintaining legacy processes, but instead actively looks for ways to use automation and AI to eliminate manual work, surface risk earlier, and increase engineering leverage. You should be equally comfortable setting strategy and getting hands-on to drive change.
YOUR DAY TO DAY
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of high standards, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Define and execute a modern quality strategy that emphasizes automation, observability, and reliability over manual verification.
Actively incorporate AI-driven approaches into testing, quality analysis, and defect prevention, reducing reliance on repetitive manual work.
Partner closely with Engineering and Product leaders to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle, not as a gate at the end.
Drive automation-first practices across web, backend, and API testing, with clear expectations for coverage, maintainability, and signal quality.
Establish and evolve data-driven quality metrics, using both traditional KPIs and AI-assisted insights to identify risk, bottlenecks, and trends.
Champion shift-left testing, CI/CD integration, and shared ownership of quality across development teams.
Collaborate with DevOps to improve release processes, observability, and production readiness.
Improve test environments, test data management, and the scalability of testing infrastructure.
Proactively identify quality risks, usability gaps, and reliability concerns, advocating for the customer while balancing delivery velocity.
Continuously assess and modernize tools, frameworks, and workflows, retiring low-value practices in favor of higher-leverage approaches.
WHAT YOU BRING TO TEALIUM
7+ years of experience in software quality, with 2+ years in a leadership or management role.
Proven experience building or transforming QA and automation teams in a modern SaaS environment.
Strong understanding of automation-first testing strategies, modern testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience testing API-driven, backend, and cloud-native systems.
Hands-on experience with AI-assisted testing, intelligent automation, or applying AI/ML tools to improve test coverage, defect detection, or quality analysis.
A mindset that views AI as a force multiplier for quality teams, not a novelty or side experiment.
Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices, including shift-left testing and shared quality ownership.
Strong technical foundation with the ability to collaborate deeply with engineers, architects, and platform teams.
Experience driving quality improvements in complex, distributed systems.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without relying on authority.
A data-driven, outcome-oriented mindset, focused on measurable improvements in reliability, speed, and customer experience.
A clear bias toward raising the bar, addressing performance gaps directly, and building teams that continuously improve.
WAGE TRANSPARENCY
In several countries worldwide, including regions within the EMEA and APJ, employers are required or strongly encouraged to include salary ranges in job postings. While requirements vary by location, transparency is a core value at Tealium. We’re committed to providing clear and consistent compensation information to all applicants, regardless of location.
This full-time position offers a base salary range of €260,000 to €330,000 annually (Polish zloty). The final offer is determined by job-related skills, experience, and qualifications. The role may also be eligible for a performance-based bonus and equity options.
