Manager Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
Job Description
You are the part of the global deal team of Philips M&A is comprised of ~15 specialists and is responsible for advisory on and the entire execution process of different types of deals (buy-side and sell-side, joint ventures, large, midsize and smaller deals). You will be part of the team in Amsterdam (~5 people) where you will be working hand-in-hand with the integration and disentanglement teams. This role will directly support the M&A project managers and directors, working in small deal team environments, to ensure successful execution of inorganic transactions.
Your responsibilities:
Directly supporting the M&A team to identify, prioritize and execute M&A and business development transactions from start to finish
Developing complex valuation and financial analyses (DCF, market multiples assessment, impact to Philips financials, etc.)
Assisting and managing due diligence processes, including project management
Developing materials and presentations to support internal reviews
Supporting deal negotiations, and participating in discussions with targets and their advisors
You are a good fit if:
2-3 years of relevant work experience and an excellent academic track record (preferably in Economics, Finance or Econometrics)
A genuine interest in corporate finance, valuation and financial markets
Strong project management skills with the ability to lead large cross functional meetings
Strong and open-minded team player who can work with various nationalities and cultures
Fluency in written/spoken English (Dutch is not required)
