Job Title: Maintenance Technician III Job Description: The Role:  The core purpose is the mission of the job – why it needs to be filled and how it fits into the organization.  By narrowly defining the Core Purpose, you’re able to define what’s needed to solve the existing business challenge(s)  This role is responsible to build, maintain, and repair the process equipment in an effective/efficient manner to allow for production output requirements to be achieve on a routine basis.  In this role you will:  What are the expected outcomes?  What must this role get done in order to meet your business objectives?  Define “what success will look like.”  【Mechanical】  Schedule work of maintenance.  Perform preventatives maintenance and repair on process equipment.  Identify spare parts necessary to repair machinery.  Troubleshoots and repair mechanical and electro-mechanical systems to minimize equipment downtime.  Disassemble and diagnose mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic (機械、氣動和液壓) failures.  Maintain manuals of PM and replacement parts.  Maintain files and records in an orderly manner for future reference.  Establish and promote the maintenance of safe and healthy working conditions.  Establish and ensure compliance to department safety procedures.  Maintain a clean and safe work environment.  【Electrical】  Schedule work of maintenance.  Perform preventatives maintenance and repair on process equipment.  Identify spare parts necessary to repair machinery.  Troubleshoots and repair mechanical and electro-mechanical systems to minimize equipment downtime.  Troubleshoots a variety of sensors and PLC interface.  Disassemble and diagnose mechanical, electrical and programming failures.  Maintain manuals of PM and replacement parts.  Maintain files and records in an orderly manner for future reference.  Establish and promote the maintenance of safe and healthy working conditions.  Establish and ensure compliance to department safety procedures.  Maintain a clean and safe work environment.    Traits we believe make a strong candidate:  What are the Position Specific Competencies?  Define the skills/competencies necessary to do the job.  These should tie directly back to the purpose and outcome.  【Mechanical】  3~5 years related experience.   A college’s degree above in Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering preferred, but related experience in lieu of education may also be considered.  Experience with equipment installation and maintenance.  Demonstrated electro-mechanical and hydraulic(機電油壓)troubleshooting skills.   Ability to read equipment layout, machined part drawings and control drawings.  Experience working with troubleshooting, replacing and rebuilding valves and actuators(閥門和執行器).  Demonstrate thorough knowledge of plant equipment, operations and processes.  Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively with machine vendors.  Able to diagnose and make correction for equipment faults and programming error effectively.  Experience within the Semiconductor or Specialty Chemical industry strongly preferred.    【Electrical】  3~5 years related experience.   A college’s degree above in Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering preferred, but related experience in lieu of education may also be considered.  Experience with equipment installation and maintenance.  Demonstrated electro-mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.  Ability to read P&IDs (液體管路設計圖)and engineering drawings(氣/電), control drawings(氣/電) and electrical schematics.  Experience working with and troubleshooting with servo motor, stepping motor, pump, sensors (i.e. temperature, level, pressure, flow etc.), and PLC (i.e. Allen Bradly/Mitsubishi/Keyence/Siemens etc).操作經驗  Experience in hydraulic (液壓)electrical, mechanical and PLC (i.e. Allen Bradly/Mitsubishi/Keyence etc).  Demonstrate thorough knowledge of plant equipment, operations and processes.  Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively with machine vendors.  Able to diagnose and make correction for equipment faults and programming error effectively.  Experience within the Semiconductor or Specialty Chemical industry strongly preferred    Your success will be measured by:  Success for the role is not defined solely on the outcome of a project but rather a combination of the results and how these results were achieved.  Describe the PACE value competencies that are required.  P - Act as a team builder to lead construction teams and complete the construction safely, on time and within budget.  A - Be a focal point who coordinates contractors and internal stakeholders for technical clarification and construction management.  C – Leverage advanced technology on design packages, construction solutions and work with contract to achieve cost saving (Value Engineering).  E – Dedicate on construction quality management to build world-class facilities.
