Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Shell Scripting Developer with strong expertise in Linux environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on development and deployment experience, with exposure to databases such as Teradata, SQL, or Oracle SQL. This role is focused on development and deployment activities, not administration or support.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Shell scripts for automation and system processes.
Work extensively in Linux-based environments to support application development and deployment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment of applications.
Optimize and troubleshoot scripts to improve performance and reliability.
Integrate database queries (Teradata, SQL, Oracle SQL, or similar) into scripts and workflows.
Participate in code reviews, deployment planning, and continuous integration activities.
Required Skills
Strong proficiency in Shell scripting.
Solid working knowledge of Linux systems.
Hands-on experience in development and deployment (not support/administration).
Basic to intermediate experience with databases (Teradata, SQL, Oracle SQL, or equivalent).
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
