What Makes This Role Great:
In this highly impactful position, You will manage complex, multi-stakeholder scenarios, bridging the gap between legal enforcement and consultative software sales. Armed with state-of-the-art telemetry tools like Cylynt, you will have the autonomy to guide external compliance agencies, orchestrate high-stakes C-level negotiations, and uncover up-selling opportunities—all while maintaining an impeccable corporate brand image and driving long-term customer health.
Key Exciting Responsibilities :
Territory Subject Matter Expert: Act as the central point of contact and authority on all License Compliance (LC) operations, strategies, and workflows across assigned countries in line with local laws.
Agency & Ecosystem Management: Build and manage partnerships with appointed compliance agencies, advising them on adequate licensing settlements and ensuring smooth market operations.
Telemetry Data & Lead Analysis: Review, validate, and analyze software piracy telemetry and compliance leads using specialized internal tools, databases, and dashboards.
Strategic Partner Negotiations: Lead C-level executive negotiations and complex legal escalations for large enterprise accounts, mitigating piracy pushback through an ecosystem-oriented, relation-preserving mindset.
Commercial Alignment & Growth: Collaborate with regional Sales teams and channel partners to turn compliance events into positive commercial outcomes (reconciliation purchases, up-selling, and minimizing renewal churn).
Pipeline Analysis & Reporting: Monitor and maintain highly accurate pipeline forecasting, tracking Quarter-to-Date (QTD) and Year-to-Date (YTD) performance metrics metrics inside enterprise CRM dashboards.
Essential Skills & Experience :
Professional Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience within a software License Compliance, IT Audit, or Piracy management environment.
Core Sales Mandate: Proven sales experience with a number-sensitive mindset and a referenceable track record of meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual targets.
Specialized Telemetry Tooling: Direct, hands-on experience utilizing Cylynt (formerly known as Smartflow) compliance tracking or telemetry software.
CRM Proficiency: Practical operational experience with Salesforce CRM for pipeline management, tracking, and reporting.
Negotiation Mastery: Proven experience successfully leading multi-stakeholder C-level corporate negotiations or structured legal escalations.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Information Technology, or a closely related professional discipline.
Core Competencies: Fluent English communication skills, high analytical capability to interpret data scenarios, process-oriented mindset, and absolute commitment to data confidentiality, work ethics, and integrity.
Bonus Points For:
Direct experience managing compliance operations within the AECO (Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Operations) software sectors in India.
Proven experience establishing and deploying new compliance processes or procedures that significantly increase regional operational efficiency.
Strong structural understanding of international software end-user license agreements (EULAs) and corporate copyright frameworks.

Travel Requirement: Open to regional travel across India and the SAARC geography as required for audits, partner alignment, or on-site client negotiations.
