Serve as the go-to resource on our public cloud environments, with a focus on Cloud IAM, Network Security, Network Policy, and orchestration technologies. Maintain engineering and security documentation, and provide training and security awareness to employees. Research and recommend automated approaches to system administration that improve both security and stability at scale. Mentor other engineers on the Security Engineering team, helping raise the bar on architecture and secure design practices. Lead architectural reviews and drive consensus on security design decisions across teams. What Will Make You A Great Fit Experience with Linux architectures and enterprise security design, and the ability to explain complex topics clearly to a technical audience. Comfort with scripting and automation (e.g. PowerShell, Bash, Docker, Terraform, HashiCorp Stack, Kubernetes) and familiarity with Infrastructure as Code concepts. Around 5 years of experience in an engineering-focused role at a medium to large enterprise, including experience mentoring or guiding other engineers. Working knowledge of the Linux Platform as a Service and its challenges in a retail or product environment. Working knowledge of modern zero trust architecture patterns and experience applying them in a production enterprise environment. Experience in the technology or gaming industry is a plus.
