This position is responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations and waitlists, providing hotel information, seating guests, and ensuring smooth dining room flow during service. Status: Part Time Availability: 2nd Shift Payrate: $17.75    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Welcome guests and provide a warm and sincere first impression. Escort guests to their table, provide menus and information. Receive, confirm, and manage reservations, provide approximate wait times, and manage seating charts through an online table & reservations system. Provide information and knowledge of hotel amenities. Maintain cleanliness of restaurant entry and Host stand area. Job Category: DUCareersInFandB What are we looking for? QUALIFICATIONS: Friendly and outgoing personality.  Likes to smile and talk to people. Prior restaurant Host/Hostess experience preferred. Food Safety Certification and Texas Alcohol Beverage Certification required within 30 days of starting and must be re-certified as needed.
