Home Office Senior Manager – Program Scheduling, Tool Support & Earned Value Compliance

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager (Level M) join the BDS Home Office IP&S team in Berkeley, MO, El Segundo, CA, Huntsville, AL, Kent, WA, Mesa, AZ, Arlington, VA, Ridley Park, PA, or Oklahoma City, OK!
Lead the Home Office Integrated Planning & Scheduling (IP&S) Tool & Process team and the Earned Value Management (EVM) Compliance team for BDS Program Management | Program Scheduling. This role combines people leadership, HR administration, tool and server administration, EVM compliance oversight, scheduling practice leadership, training development, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders, including Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and Boeing Financial Analysis - EVM Compliance.
Position Responsibilities:
Employee development and people leadership
Earned Value Management (EVM) compliance:
Directly coordinate IP&S EVM compliance issues and resolution with DCMA Earned Value Center and Boeing Financial Analysis – EVM Compliance team
Support and guide BDS programs in development of Corrective Action Requests (CARs) and associated Corrective Action Plans (CAPs)
Oversee maintenance and reporting of EVM compliance testing related to internal/external surveillance and CAR/CAP closure for all BDS programs with earned value reporting requirements
Travel to program sites to prepare and support programs for internal and external Earned Value System surveillance
Provide guidance to BDS leadership, program managers, functional managers, and program teams on EVM-compliant execution strategies
Scheduling practice leadership:
Serve as BDS Scheduling Practice Leader
Monitor schedule quality metrics at the BDS portfolio level, including:
Defense Contract Management Agency Earned Value Management System Compliance (DECM)
Process compliance
Scheduling practice effectiveness
Tools, processes, and training:
Maintain all Command Media associated with program scheduling practice and earned value compliance.
Develop, maintain, and deliver program scheduling tool and process training
Administer training data access (server administration)
Oversee Program Management IP&S software administration, including vendor coordination and change management
Home Office server administration
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
10+ years of experience in integrated scheduling, Industrial Engineering, Business Operations, and/or related disciplines
5+ years of experience using Integrated Scheduling tools such as: Open Plan Professional, Microsoft Project Professional, Enterprise Project Management, or a similar tool
5+ years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
5+ years of experience leading or managing a cross-functional team
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Master’s Degree or equivalent experience
