Join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific, the world leader in serving science, as our Global Market Development Manager, Hemato-Oncology. In this key role, you'll develop marketing strategies and programs to support growth and innovation across our hemato-oncology next-generation sequencing (NGS) product portfolio. Working in a collaborative environment, you'll develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns that create product demand and build customer value. You'll be accountable for executing to plan and delivering results by aligning with multiple cross-functional teams—including product management, regional marketing, commercial partners, and medical affairs.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute integrated, multi-channel marketing strategies informed by customer segmentation, competitive analysis, market trends, and sales funnel insights
Lead the creation of compelling, compliant marketing content and messaging across digital, social, web, video, print, and other channels to strengthen brand positioning and product differentiation
Partner cross-functionally with Product Management, R&D, Regional Marketing, and Commercial teams to develop sales enablement tools, customer education, and go-to-market initiatives
Monitor campaign performance through dashboards and analytics, optimizing marketing investments, promotional mix, and budgets to maximize ROI
Champion brand strategy by ensuring consistent messaging and positioning across all marketing activities
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and internal stakeholders through direct engagement, presentations, and collaborative partnerships
Requirements
Advanced Degree plus 6 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of experience in marketing in life sciences or related industry
Preferred Fields of Study: Life sciences, marketing, business administration, or related field
Demonstrated ability to translate technical/scientific content into compelling customer messaging
Strong expertise in developing and executing multi-channel marketing strategies and campaigns
Strong project management and organizational skills to handle multiple priorities
Experience with digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, social media, and marketing automation platforms
Strong analytical capabilities to measure campaign effectiveness and drive data-based decisions
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across matrix organizations
Deep understanding of marketing fundamentals: 4Ps, segmentation, value proposition development
Experience developing sales enablement tools and customer-facing materials
Knowledge of life science research markets and competitor landscape preferred
Ability to travel up to 25%
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and marketing automation/CRM platforms
Business acumen with customer-centric mindset
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $103,100.00–$130,000.00.
