About the Role
Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Food Service Assistant (FSA) to join our restaurant team. This role is essential to the success of our dining operations and plays a key part in delivering memorable hospitality experiences to our guests.
The Food Service Assistant supports the service team by maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment while assisting servers with service execution. This position is ideal for someone eager to begin or grow a career in the restaurant and hospitality industry at a world-class property.

Essential Functions
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the dining area to ensure a welcoming guest experience
Set up, clear, clean, and reset tables efficiently and accurately
Stock and maintain all service stations throughout the shift
Assist servers with table service and guest needs as required
Provide the highest level of service to guests at all times
Maintain thorough knowledge of restaurant menus to support guest inquiries
Work collaboratively with servers, kitchen staff, and leadership to support smooth operations
Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Strong customer service skills with a friendly, engaging personality
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to carry trays and lift/move items weighing up to 30 pounds

Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
