Flightline Operations Manager Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking a highly motivated and experienced 787 Flightline Operations Manager to oversee our flightline operations and aircraft deliveries in San Antonio, Texas. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient handling of aircraft during the delivery process, while leading a dedicated team committed to excellence. You will implement and promote safety protocols as a top priority, fostering a culture of safety and compliance throughout the operations. Additionally, you will leverage Lean principles to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and reduce waste, ensuring that our operations not only meet but exceed industry standards. Position Responsibilities: Ensures that air vehicles are completed and pass certification for airworthiness by overseeing final component installation, systems operation functional testing, modification, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, preflight and postflight checks, release for flight, and preparation for delivery. Interfaces with flight crews, engineering, management, suppliers, and customers to meet product requirements and ensure customer acceptance. Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals. Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in San Antonio, Texas. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 4+ years of experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment 4+ years of experience working in Manufacturing or Flightline operations 3+ years of experience working in cross-functional teams 1+ years of experience in a leadership role Willing and able to work any shift based on the needs of the operation Must have a valid US driver’s license Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 3+ years of experience in a leadership role Knowledge of and demonstrated commitment to Go for Zero and Incident Injury Free principles Experience working with contracted service providers Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
