Job Description:
Sensia Coraopolis is recruiting for and experienced panel wireman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as panel wireman and will have held leadership roles. They will be able to contribute to all stages of the panel lifecycle including; estimating, initial engineering design, bill of material creation, assembly, factory acceptance testing, and post delivery customer assistance.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
Assemble and wire electrical control systems according to diagrams and engineering specifications.
Diagnose and fix wiring issues and malfunctions
Conduct electrical testing to ensure panels are functioning to engineering/customer specifications
Maintain accurate records of electrical changes, material usage, labor hours, testing, etc.
Assist in creation and review of Bill of Materials.
Minimum Qualifications:
3+ years of prior experience as a panel wireman or similar electrical/mechanical assembly role.
Proficiency with power, and hand and test tools.
Attention to detail and high level of precision in work
Good Verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Self-sufficient in performing job duties.
High School Diploma, or equivalent GED along with vocational training or equivalent military experience
Valid driver’s license.
US Citizen: Due to the nature of the work and associated U.S. Department of Defense requirements, this role is limited to U.S. citizens only.
Preferred Qualifications:
AS degree in Electronics, Engineering, Test Certifications, or equivalent experience.
Production Lead or Forman leadership experience
Ability to read and interpret pneumatic and hydraulic schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
Familiarity with a variety of electrical components, such as PLCs, relays, and circuit breakers.
Understanding of electrical safety standards, such as the NEC or IEC.
Knowledge of industry codes and regulations.
