What the Role Entails
1. Support our PC/Console key portfolio titles horizontally, and be responsible for driving the GaaS publishing and operational execution of core projects.
2. Lead our publishing strategy and game positioning to execution of our live service/GaaS plans.
3. Acting as the central point of contact you will facilitate information flow and work collaboration among our European second-party studios. Ensure the successful global release of the projects.
4. Allocating publishing resources effectively, including human and budget resources across various regions and functions. Implement data driven and efficient management practices to enhance project efficiency, data performance, and profitability.
5. Being involved in strategic product planning, franchise and lifecycle management.
6. Designing and running consumer research studies to identify and measure market opportunities and define game positioning.
7. Developing strong relationships to establish and maintain a reliable and timely flow of information and materials to all parties as necessary.
8. Coordinating with other teams in Tencent to leverage available services and know-how. Analysing competitive products and new business opportunities and make recommendations to senior management.
Who We Look For
To be successful you will have:
1. 10+ years’ publishing, product management, or equivalent experience, shipping multiple PC/Console titles across several platforms.
2. An excellent understanding of what is required to build and deliver AAA PC/Console titles and franchises.
3. An understanding of live service/GaaS business models and best practices especially in the European markets.
4. A passion for games and a keen eye for market trends and data. Demonstrate the ability to identify and capitalize on genre or market opportunities effectively.
5. An open and flexible mindset, with strong collaboration and communication skills.
6. Excellent English language proficiency, both written and spoken, to serve as a working language.
7. Possess cultural awareness for both Chinese and Western cultures.
8. Exhibit a strong sense of responsibility, self-drive, and exceptional problem-solving abilities. Be resilient to pressure and capable of managing work across different time zones. Prior experience in large-scale multinational projects is preferred.
