We’re looking for a Director, Sales (Brazil) to lead our monetization efforts in one of Pinterest’s fastest-growing international markets. Reporting to the VP of Latin America Sales, you'll be responsible for building Pinterest’s business and presence in Brazil. You will work closely with cross-functional partners to drive business results for our clients while delivering significant growth. You will manage a team of senior sellers and be part of the LATAM Senior Leadership Team. You will represent Pinterest externally and serve as our voice within the Brazilian digital advertising industry.
What you’ll do:
Lead Pinterest’s sales strategy and execution in Brazil, setting a clear growth agenda and delivering against ambitious revenue goals.
Develop market and competitive assessments to identify new opportunities and strengthen Pinterest’s position in Brazil.
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to shape and execute a local market strategy that meets partner objectives, grows media investment, and drives sustainable revenue growth.
Build and deepen relationships with Brazilian CEOs, CMOs, senior decision-makers, and industry associations to expand Pinterest’s business impact and market presence.
Build, lead, and develop a best-in-class sales team in Brazil, fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture where top talent can thrive.
Raise the bar on performance by driving accountability, commercial excellence, and strong coaching and development across the team.
Help the team thrive through innovative uses of AI that improve productivity, sharpen insights, and unlock more effective ways of selling and partnering.
Collaborate with Sales Operations, Measurement, and other cross-functional teams to analyze performance, scale best practices, and support client growth through Pinterest solutions.
Contribute as a key member of the LATAM leadership team through strong cross-country and cross-functional partnership.
Serve as an external spokesperson and ambassador for Pinterest in Brazil, evangelizing the brand with clients, partners, and the broader industry.
What we’re looking for:
15+ years of experience in the digital media industry, including significant leadership experience, with deep expertise in the Brazilian market.
Proven success leading high-performing sales and/or marketing teams.
Strong track record of engaging and influencing executive-level business and marketing leaders within client organizations.
Established network of senior industry and client relationships in Brazil, particularly at the Marketing Director level and above.
Strong understanding of performance, data, and measurement, with the ability to turn insights and market trends into effective commercial strategies.
Entrepreneurial, strategic mindset, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding business and revenue goals.
Experience partnering with Product and Engineering teams to represent customer needs, shape roadmaps, and navigate technology tradeoffs.
Strong go-to-market and operational capabilities, with the rigor to drive execution against key business priorities.
Inspiring and inclusive leadership style, with the ability to create urgency, raise performance, and foster transformational thinking across teams.
Strong influencing skills, with the ability to shape priorities and drive decision-making across stakeholders.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data, insights, and product capabilities into compelling client strategies.
Demonstrated success in growth environments and in launching new business initiatives.
Experience leveraging AI to improve sales effectiveness, productivity, decision-making, or team performance.

In-Office Requirement Statement:
We recognize that the ideal environment for work is situational and may differ across departments. What this looks like day-to-day can vary based on the needs of each organization or role.
This role requires the individual to be in person at least two days per week, either meeting with clients or collaborating with teammates in the Pinterest São Paulo office. Therefore, the role requires a commutable distance from the Pinterest São Paulo office. Regular domestic travel will also be necessary to meet with clients and teams.
