ABOUT THE ROLE
The TwelveLabs Go-to-Market (GTM) organization exists to empower developers and enterprises to build intelligent video applications with the TwelveLabs platform. Within GTM, the Global Partnerships team focuses on establishing high-leverage, strategic collaborations that amplify the reach of TwelveLabs' multimodal foundation models and unlock meaningful enterprise value.
As the Director of Strategic Partnerships (APAC), you will lead TwelveLabs' partner ecosystem across the Asia-Pacific region, driving top-of-funnel pipeline generation and partner-influenced revenue for our sales organization. Reporting to the Head of Strategic Partnerships, you will build and manage relationships with hyperscalers, systems integrators, resellers, and ecosystem partners throughout APAC.
Based in Seoul, South Korea with frequent travel throughout the APAC region, you will serve as the face of TwelveLabs partnerships across the region. This is a senior leadership role requiring equal parts strategic vision and hands-on execution. You will thrive here if you have deep relationships across the APAC technology ecosystem, a track record of building revenue-generating partnerships, and the ability to navigate complex engagements across cultures and languages.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL
- Develop and execute the APAC partnership strategy, identifying high-value opportunities with large technology platforms, OEMs, regional systems integrators, and technology resellers that drive qualified pipeline and partner-influenced revenue.
- Build and manage relationships with senior executives at strategic partners, ensuring TwelveLabs is positioned as a priority AI partner within their ecosystems.
- Drive joint GTM initiatives including co-selling programs, partner enablement, and marketing campaigns that generate measurable leads for the sales organization.
- Negotiate and structure partnership agreements, including reseller arrangements, marketplace listings, and joint solution offerings tailored to APAC market dynamics.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Regional Leadership, Sales, Marketing, Product, and Engineering to align partner programs with company objectives and translate regional insights into GTM recommendations.
- Represent TwelveLabs at industry events and partner summits across the region, building brand awareness and establishing thought leadership in video AI.
YOU MAY BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU HAVE
- 15+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or alliance management within the technology sector, with a strong track record in the APAC region.
- Fluency in English, and Korean is required, also being fluent in Japanese is a plus. You can build executive relationships, negotiate complex agreements, and present compellingly across all three languages.
- Demonstrated success in building revenue-generating partnerships with large enterprises, hyperscalers systems integrators, and resellers that drive measurable pipeline and bookings.
- Deep experience with AWS and its partner ecosystem is highly preferred, including familiarity with AWS Marketplace, ISV Accelerate, and key AWS consulting partners in APAC.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms, AI/ML technologies, and enterprise software sales cycles. Experience in video, media, or multimodal AI is a plus.
- Excellent executive presence and communication skills. You navigate cultural nuances across APAC markets with ease and build trust with C-level stakeholders.
- High tolerance for ambiguity and a bias for action. TwelveLabs is an early-stage startup where you will define strategy while simultaneously executing on the ground.
- Willingness to travel frequently throughout the APAC region, particularly between Tokyo and Seoul, with occasional travel to the US headquarters.
