Global Director of Inbound Material Supply Chain
The Director of Inbound Material Supply Chain is responsible for leading a large supply chain buying/planning team, formulating their strategic directions, evaluating emerging trends, overseeing site-level and some global planning developments, defining improvement opportunities, and advocating supply chain planning principles to drive alignment and optimize performance across the supply chain.
Your role:
Leads a large supply chain buying/planning team and guides them in aligning sales forecasts with operational material plans. This includes optimizing predefined stock-level thresholds in factories to ensure operational efficiency while effectively meeting customer demands.
Demonstrated E2E experience leading digital solutions in advanced planning or purchasing systems deployments.
Develops long-term supply chain planning policies, articulates a clear vision and roadmap for your organization, guides its strategic direction, and ensures alignment with objectives to drive growth and operational excellence. This future direction will incorporate analysis of external market trends, assess operational capabilities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive plans.
Defines and refines improvement opportunities focused on operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and cost reduction, and leverages team resources effectively to achieve organizational goals and enhance overall supply chain performance.
Champion the talent development of the team that includes leading succession planning and comprehensive talent management within the operational material management department. Additionally, you will be responsible for driving the organization's growth by managing employee selection, performance management, compensation, and career development in alignment with operational goals.
Advocates supply chain planning principles by embodying them in all aspects of operations, championing the supply chain planning process to drive alignment. Your ability to drive good practices across multiple stakeholders will enhance decision-making and ensure optimal performance across the supply chain.
You're the right fit if:
You’ve acquired 15+ years of experience in IT and Supply Chain Management, recent experience implementing an APS in a highly regulated environment (This is a people leader role)
Your skills include people management, Business Economics, Supply Chain Management, Data Analysis and Statistics, Business Analytics
You have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
You’re an engaging leader with experience in APS Implementation.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
This role is an office role in Colorado Springs, Plymouth or in Costa Rica.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position in Colorado Springs, Colorado, is $153,750 to $246,000
The pay range for this position in Plymouth, Minnesota, is $161,438 to $258,300
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
