Are you ready to shape the diagnostic landscape that unlocks targeted oncology therapies for patients and defines what launch excellence looks like? This role leads the design and delivery of national diagnostic strategies that turn precision science into rapid, reliable testing at scale—so the right patients are identified and treated without delay.
You will spearhead in‑market genetic testing excellence for targeted therapies through launch and beyond, removing barriers across testing pathways and building partnerships that make adoption inevitable. Your impact will extend to the next wave of personalized healthcare launches in oncology and selected areas beyond, connecting scientific rigor, commercial focus, and real-world execution to transform standards of care. Accountabilities:
National Diagnostic Strategy: Define and deliver the national diagnostic strategy for assigned assets, aligned to brand goals and patient impact.
Launch Readiness and Market Excellence: Lead market readiness assessments and go/no go decisions; ensure robust, high-quality in-market targeted genetic testing up to and through launch.
Testing Pathway Optimization: Map, simplify and scale testing pathways; remove or minimize diagnostic barriers to therapy use in priority geographies and centers.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with medical, commercial, market access, and field teams on all diagnostic-related activities to ensure launch readiness and optimal execution.
External Partnerships and KOL Engagement: Identify, collaborate with and influence national diagnostic opinion leaders; maintain appropriate engagement with clinical leaders to co-design and execute diagnostic initiatives.
Customer-Facing Diagnostic Programs: Develop and implement national pre- and post-launch activities to establish an optimal diagnostic environment for targeted therapies and immunology treatment in oncology.
Education and Scientific Exchange: Deliver high-impact diagnostic education via meetings, exhibitions, congresses/symposia and digital channels that elevate standards and adoption.
Partner and Lab Network Management: Select, qualify and manage diagnostic partners and testing laboratories; drive delivery, service levels and turnaround time improvements.
Testing Robustness in Clinical Centers: Embed robust testing pathways in key national centers, supporting local protocol development and multidisciplinary team working.
Capability Building: Elevate diagnostic expertise across the cross-functional team, including medical, sales and payer evidence functions, to enhance execution quality.
Quality Assurance and Governance: Drive diagnostic quality assurance programs and uphold highest standards across partners, processes and materials.
Access and Pricing Inputs: Provide key inputs to pricing and market access strategies, including reimbursement cases for therapies and associated diagnostic tests.
Evidence and Insights: Use medical evidence, real-world evidence and epidemiology to shape education and decision-making; identify evidence gaps and inform global/local plans to bridge them.
Brand Strategy Influence: Generate diagnostic insights that inform national brand strategy and tactical plans; monitor performance and propose improvement plans.
Regulatory Support: As required, support registration and regulatory approval of diagnostic tests in country, ensuring alignment with governance and timelines.
Essential Skills/Experience:
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in any science-related field
• Experiences in pharmaceutical industry
Knowledge
• Understanding of the national diagnostics environment, including the science, process and necessary commercial touch points in developing and implementing a treatment linked diagnostic modality.
• Understanding of how the diagnostic business and customer environment works to drive rapid uptake of tests; how diagnostic standards are built, established and operated in different geographies; who these customers are and how they work.
• Understanding of general business principles and application to future healthcare market challenges
• Understanding of the strategic planning process
Experience
• Experience of oncology diagnostic and therapeutic marketing including launch experience.
• Delivery of high impact in market customer facing/shaping Dx initiatives
• Strong strategic thinking, judgment and influencing skills, to influence and lead national internal team and customers to ensure strong commercial focus with excellent execution.
• Strong leadership attributes to set direction, generate commitment, balance short- and long-term needs, constructively resolve issues.
• Proven experience and knowledge of a broad base of external customers including patients, prescribers, payers, providers.
• Effective cross- functional project team leadership and influencing skills.

Desirable Skills/Experience:
• Postgraduate degree in a relevant scientific discipline
• Hands-on experience with registration/regulatory approval processes for diagnostic tests
• Demonstrated success building P&MA cases for diagnostics linked to therapy reimbursement
• Track record implementing diagnostic QA programs across multi-site lab networks
• Experience leveraging real-world evidence and epidemiology to inform diagnostic strategy and education
• Familiarity with immunology-related diagnostics and cross-tumor applications
• Experience shaping local protocols and multidisciplinary pathways in major cancer centers
• Proven delivery of digital education and congress/symposia programs at national scale
