Job Description
The Data Annotation Associate Specialist is responsible for the annotation and quality review of data used to train and evaluate machine learning models to improve autonomous vehicle technology. We are looking for an Associate Specialist to perform audits of 2D and 3D human annotated data in both in-house and external annotation tooling. This work ensures that every frame of data meets the highest standards of precision and safety.
What you'll be doing:
Annotating 2D video (e.g., bounding boxes) and 3D LiDAR (e.g., cuboid and BEV top-down) on merged sensor data to label objects of interest or full scenes
Auditing and performing quality reviews of annotations to maintain high data quality and prevent errors
Adhering to annotation instructions and guidelines while providing feedback to refine documentation and ensure consistency
Collaborating with machine learning engineers, project managers, and other Data Annotation team members to improve instructions, guidelines, and overall processes
Utilizing a variety of in-house and vendor annotation tools to perform tasks efficiently, while providing suggestions for tool optimization
Meeting deadlines and maintaining high project standards in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
What we're looking for:
Bachelor’s in any discipline
Fresh graduates with no experience are welcomed to apply
Previous experience in data annotation is required, with at least 2 years in the field for diploma holders
Advanced proficiency in various 2D and 3D annotation tools and a strong understanding of 2D and 3D geometry, spatial data, and coordinate systems
Exceptional attention to detail with an unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest levels of accuracy
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet strict project deadlines
Adaptability and resilience when working in fast-paced, evolving environment
Bonus points (not required):
Prior experience in the Autonomous Vehicle industry
Experience working with diverse cultures and managing projects across multiple time zone
