As a Data Analyst within the Real Estate and Private Equity technology team at BXTI, you will be instrumental in developing analytical tools that support our alternative asset management operations. You will be expected to solve real business challenges by bridging strategy and technology execution – owning complex initiatives from inception to delivery. You are equal parts problem solver and operator with an instinct for identifying what matters, a bias for action, and the resilience to see things through. You will also play a key role in advancing the firm's data platform, driving Blackstone's transformation through cutting-edge technology solutions. Collaborating with a cross-functional team of technologists and product managers, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions that add significant business value. Your responsibilities will encompass creating solutions for recurring deal diligence and automations to streamline the review and analysis of the current portfolio.
Responsibilities:
Lead intake and refinement of technology and data asks related to deal tracking, portfolio monitoring, and other workflows. Proactively identify opportunities for better tooling, automation, or data flows that increase adoption and reduce manual work.
Conduct business analysis and stakeholder sessions with various teams across the firm, focusing on our Real Estate business to drive efficient underwriting, asset and portfolio management, and other workflows. This will also involve coordinating with a broader technology organization comprising product owners, application developers, and UX designers.
Partner with global and regional teams to document best practices and processes. Champion sustainable ways of working—across intake, prioritization, delivery, and documentation.
Develop and maintain analytical software solutions using Python and SQL, ensuring code quality, scalability, reliability, and security.
Manage the end‑to‑end lifecycle of data used in AI and analytics workflows, ensuring appropriate access controls, licensing compliance, and alignment with legal, security, and business requirements prior to release.
Promote and cultivate a culture of data analytics, science, and AI within the firm, including leading talks and training sessions for both technology and business teams.
Collaborate with platform and engineering teams on deployment workflows; familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD concepts, and cloud deployment technologies is a plus.
Qualifications:
3 years in a data analysis or data science role, with fluency in Python and SQL for interacting with data and data warehouses.
Experience working within a technology team for a financial firm, with a preference for alternative asset management and real estate.
Advanced analytical skills, including statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.
Experience with data governance, data quality, and data integration best practices.
Skilled in using Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, including demonstrated effectiveness in communicating and relating to both business and technical coworkers, and authoring documentation appropriate for the user community, development teams, and upper management.
Skilled at clearly defining project scope and managing and communicating scope changes.
Adept at managing multiple priorities and raising issues in a timely and productive fashion.
Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or other related field.
Preferred Skills:
Proficiency in software development lifecycle tools, such as version control, CI/CD tools, and cloud deployment technologies.
