Job Description
The Business Analyst – Healthcare Information Systems plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between clinical operations and IT solutions within healthcare organizations. This position is responsible for analyzing, designing, and optimizing healthcare information systems to support efficient clinical workflows, enhance patient care, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
This position requires good knowledge of clinical and hospital workflows and operations, along with a solid understanding of local and EU healthcare regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
· Healthcare Information System Analysis: Evaluate, document, and optimize existing healthcare information systems, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and clinical requirements.
· Clinical Workflow Mapping: Collaborate with clinicians and stakeholders to understand and document clinical workflows, translating operational needs into technical requirements.
· Requirements Gathering & Documentation: Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather business and functional requirements. Produce clear, comprehensive documentation for stakeholders and development teams.
· Communication: Communicate requirements, project updates, and technical information effectively to diverse audiences.
· Training Plan Assistance: Work collaboratively with trainers to develop training plans and schedules for super-users, administrators and end-users, ensuring readiness for system changes, upgrades, or new implementations.
· Analyze existing healthcare information systems and identify opportunities for improvement, optimization, or regulatory alignment.
· Support project delivery, including user acceptance testing and post-implementation review, to confirm solutions meet business and regulatory requirements.
Skills and Qualifications
· Strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare operational processes.
· Good knowledge of local and EU healthcare regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, MDR, local health authority requirements).
· Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to tailor messages to technical and non-technical audiences.
· Proficient documentation skills, including process mapping, requirements specification, and report writing.
· Basic knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards and protocols.
· Experience collaborating with trainers and supporting training plan development.
· Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
· Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is zł155,600.00 - zł289,200.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
