Position Summary  The primary focus of the Quality Control Associate is to support QC testing for in-process, final product, stability samples and for supporting environmental and facility monitoring. May assist with documentation updates, deviations, investigations and continuous improvement efforts. Duties/Responsibilities  Perform routine testing of in-process, final product and stability samples.  Perform environmental/facilities monitoring and microbiological testing.  May review GMP documentation and perform data verification.  Perform document revision.  Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.  Support document revision, deviations, CAPA’s and investigations.  May train analysts on general job duties.  Perform other tasks as assigned.  Qualifications  Education and Experience  Bachelor’s degree preferred in science. Associate degree with equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.  0-2+ years of relevant microbiological or QC experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in a regulated environment.  Demonstrated experience in microbiological techniques and basic laboratory safety procedures.  Prior experience with microbiological techniques is preferred.    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities  Ability to accurately and completely understand and follow procedures.  Apply scientific principles to QC testing and the proper use of laboratory equipment.  Ability to communicate effectively with peers and management about task status, roadblocks, and needs.  Attention to detail and demonstrate organizational skills.  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and prioritize work.  If you come across a role that intrigues you but doesn’t perfectly line up with your resume, we encourage you to apply anyway.  The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee’s work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience.
