Drive Construction Innovation as an Account Executive – AECO (MEP Portfolio)
Are you a high-performing sales professional with a track record of scaling enterprise SaaS solutions? Trimble is looking for an strategic, results-driven Account Executive to join our Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Operations (AECO) division in Mumbai. In this high-impact role, you will act as the "quarterback" for your territory, managing complex multi-stakeholder buying processes and introducing transformative Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) cloud solutions to top-tier enterprise accounts.

Our Division: Trimble's AECO division provides the digital backbone for the building lifecycle. Our MEP cloud applications and BIM data workflows enable contractors, engineers, and owners to design, detail, and build with unprecedented accuracy, eliminating fragmentation from the field to the office.
What Makes This Role Great:
Operating with high professional visibility, you will own the success of our MEP technology adoption across the region, reporting directly to the Territory Head - India. You will have full strategic autonomy to design long-range territory plans, capture net-new greenfield market share, and lead end-to-end multi-stakeholder deals. This position provides a dynamic environment where you can showcase your consultative selling mastery while collaborating with expert Product Sales Executives and Sales Engineering teams to deliver high-stakes technical proof-of-concepts.
Key Exciting Responsibilities
Lead the End-to-End Sales Cycle: Drive the entire enterprise buying process, from early pipeline discovery and qualifying high-value opportunities to managing complex commercial negotiations and closing.
Territory & Funnel Engineering: Research, build, and execute data-driven, long-range territory plans. Build and sustain a robust, highly qualified sales pipeline to ensure consistent quota attainment and ongoing sales momentum.
Cross-Functional Team Orchestration: Act as the account quarterback, collaborating closely with specialized Product Sales Executives and Sales Engineering networks to deploy high-impact product demonstrations.
Market Ambassadorship & Intelligence: Stay ahead of construction tech trends to act as a trusted subject matter expert for clients. Organize and spearhead segment-specific promotional campaigns, including regional roadshows, seminars, and industry expos (requires extensive regional travel).
Measures of Success
Quota Attainment: Consistently meet or exceed assigned overall and region-specific enterprise sales goals.
Year-Over-Year Growth: Demonstrate measurable revenue growth and market-share expansion within your designated territory and segment.
New Account Acquisition: Successfully prospect, onboard, and unlock sustainable revenue streams from net-new acquired accounts.
Essential Skills & Experience
SaaS Sales Track Record: 5+ years of proven professional experience in software/SaaS sales, with a consistent, referenceable track record of meeting or exceeding an annual sales quota.
Consultative Methodologies: Practical mastery of modern enterprise sales frameworks (such as MEDDIC, Challenger, or Gap Selling) with a demonstrated capability to navigate complex multi-stakeholder corporate structures.
Technical Aptitude: Comfortably understand and discuss abstract technical concepts, including cloud integrations, Building Information Modeling (BIM), and data-driven construction workflows.
Communication & Executive Presence: Exceptional presentation and verbal communication skills, with the ability to command a room—from the construction job site trailer up to the executive C-suite.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Civil), Business Administration, or a closely related field.

Industry Domain Expertise: Direct sales experience in the building construction industry or selling specialized construction-tech (AECO) platforms.
MEP Workflow Literacy: Strong conceptual familiarity with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing engineering, detailing, or contracting workflows.
Advanced Education: Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.

Travel Requirement: Extensive regional travel for client demos, expos, and roadshows.
