The Allocation Analyst is responsible for managing allocation processes for the Asia region, particularly during critical supply situations where resources are constrained. This role requires close collaboration with various departments, including Sales Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, Business Unit, and Logistics. The goal is to evaluate demand and constraints, recommend allocation strategies, and ensure that decisions align with ADI’s overall strategy and commitments to customers.
The Allocation Analyst is an individual contributor on a global team. They will handle the daily internal operations of product allocations in their region. This individual must quickly adapt to shifting priorities and unexpected challenges, advocate for unbiased, data-driven solutions, and communicate recommendations, rationale, and decisions clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
· Manage the allocation of parts by collaborating with internal ADI teams
· Organize and summarize large amounts of data across various tools
· Gather customer requirements, analyze supply constraints, and work with the Business Unit to shape recommendations that adapt to changing priorities
· Maintain related documentation, ensure timely updates to the allocations website and tracking systems, and support necessary reviews and approvals
· Represent the allocation process in discussions with global stakeholders, including Business Units, Supply Chain, Sales, Sales Operations, Customer Service, and Logistics; facilitate alignment on priorities and outcomes
· Continuously seek improvements and advocate for enhancements to the allocation processes to maximize efficiency
Qualifications:
· Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience in executive-level communication
· Ability to balance competing priorities and make data-driven decisions in high-pressure situations with tight deadlines
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
· Organized and a multitasker
· A bachelor’s degree from a reputable university
· Preferably, experience in Operations or Supply Chain management
