AI/ML Senior Manager Engineer

We are seeking a highly qualified professional to join our team as an AI/ML Senior Manager Engineer. In this role, you will influence and advise across multiple teams while delivering innovative Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning solutions. We are looking for a professional with strong expertise in AI/ML technologies, cloud-based AI services, and Database Architecture, capable of designing scalable, production-ready platforms that enable advanced analytics and intelligent applications. Qualifications Expert proficiency in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Generative AI technologies Strong experience with cloud-based AI services and enterprise AI solution architecture Advanced knowledge of Database Architecture, data modeling, and scalable data platforms Experience developing and deploying deep learning models, LLMs, and AI-driven applications Strong understanding of MLOps, data engineering, and production-grade AI/ML pipelines Experience working with large-scale datasets and distributed computing environments Advanced English communication skills (minimum, B2) Responsibilities Design and develop Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning systems using cloud-based AI services Build scalable data pipelines that support model training and production environments, with a strong focus on operational excellence Customize and apply deep learning and Generative AI models based on business requirements and available data Conduct research and development of advanced algorithms, models, and simulations for high-performance computing applications Work with large-scale datasets and apply data preprocessing techniques to ensure high-quality training and production data Design, implement, and maintain efficient data storage and retrieval systems that support machine learning models and knowledge management solutions Define and evolve database architecture strategies to enable scalable, secure, and high-performing AI platforms Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure, data, and computing requirements, including edge devices and high-performance computing resources Provide technical leadership and contribute to key architectural and technology decisions across multiple teams Drive innovation by evaluating emerging AI technologies and identifying opportunities to improve business outcomes Nice to Have Experience with Foundation Model Fine Tuning and Large Language Model Fine-Tuning. Location: Lisbon Legal: Must own a valid work permit or EU/Schengen Space Nationality to legally work in Portugal.
